Abstract

This study examines the effect of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) and Operational Efficiency Ratio (OER) on PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk's Return on Assets (ROA). 2010-2020 This analysis utilizes data from PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk's 2010-2020 Financial Report. This study uses secondary data from financial statements and then uses multiple linear regression as a quantitative descriptive method IBM SPSS version 20 was used in this investigation. The regression model in this study successfully completed a test of classical assumptions, indicating that the data are normally distributed and devoid of multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation. CAR and OER were both found to have negative impacts on ROA by multiple regression analysis. Hence, Between 2010 and 2020, the ROA of PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk will be impacted by CAR and OER.

Abstract

Sharia fixed income mutual funds are the topic raised by the author because they are mutual funds with the lure of stable returns to investors. Fixed-income mutual funds are one of the biggest contributors to returns to investors,but decreased in 2020. Based on this phenomenon, this final project aims to find out what can affect the performance of Islamic fixed income mutual funds. There are five variables that can be taken based on previous research and classified into internal factors (Mutual fund age, Mutual fund size) and external factors (Inflation, Rupiah exchange rate, and interest rates) to then be tested for their effect on the performance of Islamic fixed income mutual funds as affected variable. The performance of Islamic fixed income mutual funds is measured using the Sharpe method. The sample used in this study were 10 investment manager companies that issued sharia fixed income mutual fund products in the 2016-2020 period and were selected through the Purposive Sampling Technique. The research method used is quantitative-descriptive with a path analysis model. This research is expected to provide information for readers related to sharia fixed income fund

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether the implementation of green banking and operational cost efficiency can affect the profitability of Sharia Commercial Banks in 2016-2020. The variables used in this study are indicators of green banking as an exogeneous variables, BOPO as an intervening variable, and ROA as an endogenous. The type of data used in this study is secondary data in the form of panel data sourced from the annual reports of each Sharia Commercial Bank registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) in 2016-2020. Hypothesis testing is done by using a path analysis model. The results indicate that the implementation of green banking has a negative and significant effect on BOPO and has no direct effect on ROA of Sharia Commercial Banks. While, BOPO has negative and significant effect on ROA of Sharia Commercial Banks.

Abstract

The background of research was implementation of financial sustainability on Sharia Commercial Banks in Indonesia not optimal since rules Number 51/POJK.03/2017 was published. The objective of research to test the influence of bank-specific factors proxied by CAR, FDR, NPF, BOPO, ROA and corporate governance measured by the number of sharia supervisory board meetings on financial sustainability proxied by Financial Sustainability Ratio (FSR). This research use explanatory quantitative approach. The result indicate that CAR has a significant influence in the same direction on FSR. FDR, BOPO and number of sharia supervisory board meetings have significant influence with the opposite direction on FSR. However, NPF and ROA didn’t have significant influence on FSR. Then, the average of financial sustainability on Sharia Commercial Banks in Indonesia has fulfilled the ideal standard by The World Bank with an FSR average value is 126.91%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of external and internal factors, namely GDP, inflation, gold prices, operational performance, age of mutual funds, and size of mutualifunds on Net Asset Value (NAV) of sharia equity mutualifunds and knowing the differences in NAV of sharia equity mutual funds before and during Covid-19 from 2018 to 2021. Data were processed using panel data regression analysis techniques and the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. The results of this research studyiare thatipartially GDP, inflation, gold prices, operational performance, and mutual fund age have no significant effect onithe NAV ofishariaiequity mutualifunds. Meanwhile, mutualifund size has a significant effect on the NAV of sharia equity mutual funds. Furthermore, the results of the different test showithat there is no difference inithe NAV ofisharia equityimutual funds in shares that occurred beforeiand duringiCovid-19.
