Abstract

The purpose of this research was to identify how the implementation model of online learning is conducted by children aged 8-10 years in Sidoarjo and how the role of their parents with different backgrounds in online learning. The research method used was qualitative research with a case study. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews and documentation. For data analysis, there were two stages utilized, namely data reduction, and data presentation. The findings of this study showed that the implementation of online learning was by utilizing the WhatsApp application because it is considered to be more universal and straightforward. Thus, children aged 8 to 10 years old in Sidoarjo could learn online. In addition, Google Classroom was employed for exercises or exams. While the involvement of parents from several backgrounds in online learning was highlighted to be quite similar, such as (1) assisting children in learning and doing assignments, (2) supervising children in using cell phones, (3) explaining the material if they did not understood, (4) providing learning facilities such as cellphones or internet quotas, and (5) affording motivation or support.

Abstract

PT Raja Indonesia Perkasa is engaged in the manufacturing industry in the textile sector by producing equipment and wholesale trade in household appliances and furniture trying to evaluate the company's performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the evaluation of the strategy according to the vision and mission applied to PT Raja Indonesia Perkasa using the balanced scorecard concept. Strategy evaluation in the company is useful for assessing the performance of a company, knowing the company's position in an effort to achieve its goals. The increasingly fierce competition in the 21st century and the economic turmoil during the global pandemic due to Covid-19 require PT Raja Indonesia Perkasa as a company that also carries out exports and imports to stay afloat. Descriptive quantitative research methodology with two sources of primary and secondary data. Data processing method using Balanced Scorecard analysis. The researcher chose this method because, from a subjective point of view, the researcher saw the success of the business run by the company PT Raja Indonesia Perkasa which is getting more and more enthusiasts or consumers in the midst of fierce competition in the business world that is happening today. The results of this study indicate that the indicators for measuring the performance of the financial perspective are the best with a score of 145,06%, followed by the customer perspective on average 55% said to be good, the business perspective on average 31.19% said to be good, growth and learning an average of 2.4% is said to be less good.

Abstract

Total Quality Management (TQM) is a starting point for an approach that assists Islamic financial institutions in improving service quality and regulates how the management control methods used are compatible with the management of financial institutions. This article wants to answer how the TQM concept is at BSI KCP Gresik Menganti and how TQM is implemented in that place. This research is a type of empirical research that emphasizes data collection directly from practice. The approach used by us is a qualitative approach. The results of our study are that the TQM concept in the research location emphasizes 1) friendly, courteous, and friendly service; 2) innovation is an initiative that implements solutions and wants to create added value; 3) role models, as actions and motivations that are correct and appropriate to implement cultural values; 4) professionalism, namely competence and responsibility, as well as innovative work, and; 5) honest, discipline, and consistency. In practice, BSI KCP Gresik Menganti implements TQM in the services provided which are pretty good, and most importantly the services provided do not look at who comes from both a race and ethnic perspective, the customers who come with various obstacles to BSI KCP Gresik Menganti.
