Abstract

Pertumbuhan kendaraan di Kota Sukabumi dari tahun ke tahun selalu mengalami peningkatan, sedangkan kapasitas jalan yang tersedia tidak berubah atau tidak berkembang. Oleh karena itu, sering terjadi kemacetan di beberapa ruas jalan, terutama pada jalan yang berada pada pusat aktivitas perekonomian. Hampir setiap hari, kondisi Jalan Ahmad Yani terjadi kemacetan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dampak lalu lintas yang ditimbulkan oleh kegiatan komersial di Jalan Ahmad Yani, Kota Sukabumi, sehingga akan diketahui tingkat pelayanan jalan pada ruas jalan tersebut. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis kuantitatif dengan melakukan analisis kondisi lalu lintas yang berpedoman pada Pedoman Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia 2014 (PKJI), analisis tingkat pelayanan jalan yang berpedoman pada Peraturan Menteri Perhubungan No. KM 14 Tahun 2006, dan melakukan perbandingan kondisi saat ini dengan asumsi tanpa adanya dampak kegiatan komersial di Jalan Ahmad Yani Kota Sukabumi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah nilai VCR Jalan Ahmad Yani mencapa 0,9 serta memiliki tingkat pelayanan jalan dengan nilai E atau dapat dikatakan arus tidak stabil, terhambat dengan tundaan yang tidak dapat ditolerir. Selain itu, berdasarkan hasil proyeksi menggunakan analisis do-nothing, diketahui bahwa diproyeksikan jumlah kendaraan yang terus meningkat setiap 5 tahunselama 20 tahun yang akan mendatang

Abstract

Street vendors around Cikutra Street are growing rapidly because of their location close to centers of community activity, such as residential locations, as well as education and health facilities. It causes the condition of the road network and facilities for pedestrians to not function properly. This study objectives to determine the impact of street vendor activity on the level of service on Cikutra Street, Bandung City. This research is a kind of quantitative studies in which the evaluation of level of road service uses the 2014 Indonesian Highway Capacity Guidelines. Based at the results of the analysis, the existence of street vendor activity along Cikutra Street has an influence on the level of road service. The existence of these street vendor activities has an impact on decreasing the level of service on Cikutra Street. This happens because it tends to be caused by travel delays, the physical condition of the street, the geometry of the street, and the volume of vehicle traffic flow on that street section. Even if the street vendors are abolished or relocated to other locations, the volume of vehicles will still be high because there are other commercial activities that are located on the edge of Cikutra Street and can affect the composition of vehicles passing through Cikutra Street.

Abstract

Sustainability of traditional pedicabs existence in Yogyakarta as one of the tourist attractions in supporting tourism has been able to survive for decades. It raises the allegation that the sustainability of traditional pedicabs existence as part of tourism in Yogyakarta tends to be due to the fulfillment of readiness in certain aspects that included in the concept of sustainable transportation, including social and institutional aspects. The aim of this research is to identify actor roles and networks in traditional pedicabs sustainability in Yogyakarta. This research uses content analysis and social network analysis (SNA) using UCINET and NetDraw software. Based on the analysis results, this research indicates that the relationship between all the actors involved in the network regarding the sustainability of the traditional pedicab is not going well. In addition, the Yogyakarta Bappeda is the actor who has the most significant role in the network regarding the sustainability of traditional pedicabs.
