Abstract

PT.X merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang manufacturing yaitu perusahaan peleburan baja. Bahan baku utama yang diolah dalam peleburan yang berbahan dasar besi-besi tua (scrap) dan beberapa bahan campuran tambahan lainnya. Proses peleburan dilakukan pada stell melting shop (SMS) menggunakan alat EAF (Electrical Arc Furnace) yang menghasilkan bahan setengah jadi yaitu billet. Billet yang sudah jadi kemudian dipanaskan ulang pada billet reheating furnace (BRF) yang akan di roll pada rolling mill plant (RML) yang akan menghasilakan wire rod. BRF memiliki tiga zone yaitu pre heating, heating, dan soaking dengan suhu yang berbeda – beda. Dalam satu jam BRF dapat memproduksi 36 billet. Penelitian ini menggunakan failure modes and effect analisys (FMEA) dalam mengidentifikasi bentuk kegagalan dan effek kegagalan dari komponen utama BRF. Kemudian dalam pemilihan jadwal perawatan yang optimal menggunakan reliability centered maintenance (RCM II). Analisa kuantitatif akan dimasukkan dalam penentuan interval waktu perawatan optimal dengan memperhatikan biaya perawatan (CM) serta biaya kerusakan (CR). Dari hasil perhitungan diketahui bahwa ada 6 komponen dari BRF yang memilik jadwal perawatan yang harus silakukan sebelum mengalami kerusakan yaitu sprocket aus = 4384,7720 jam, Poros Hidrolis patah = 724,6993 jam, Poros hidrolis pendorong billet bengkok = 663,6685 jam, Mengganti safety valve PGN = 551,7647 jam, Ducting pipe berlubang = 995,4881 jam, dan arm bengkok = 725,0752 jam   Kata kunci—FMEA (failure modes and effect analysis), RCM II (reliability centere maintenance), interval perawatan

Abstract

Mandangin Island is one of the islands in Sampang Regency which has an area of 1650 km 2 with a population of around 3000 people. Most of the people on this island, the majority of whom work as fishermen, generally travel around 12.2 km to Sampang City to buy daily necessities by boarding traditional wooden boats at the Tanglok Sampang port. According to information conveyed by the Head of the Sampang Regency Transportation Service, most or almost all of the passenger ships that dock at Tanglok Port are traditional wooden ships whose actual function is to transport goods, not passengers, which are quite old. The Transportation Department considers the existing ships to be less safe and comfortable and therefore require refreshing. Besides that, wood as the main material in nature is decreasing in quantity so the price is increasingly expensive. The method implemented in this community service is to carry out a fiber glass boat operational training program for traditional boat operators. With this activity, it is hoped that the continued use of fiber glass boats can begin to be used and reduce the use of wooden boats which are relatively more expensive.
