Abstract

Semakin berkembangnya zaman di era revolusi 4.0, guru-guru di sekolah dituntut mampu dalam hal penguasaan kompetensi guru, salah satunya penguasaan dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran. Kurangnya pengetahuan guru-guru di SDN Tanjung, 02 mengenai inovasi media pembelajaran dapat menimbulkan siswa kurang termotivasi dalam pembelajaran, khususnya media pembelajaran 3D. Tujuan diadakannya kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berupa penyuluhan media pembelajaran berbentuk pop-up book adalah guru mendapatkan pengetahuan atau wawasan mengenai pentingnya media pembelajaran pop-up book dalam menunjang pembelajaran di kelas, guru mampu membuat media pop-up book, guru mampu membuat media pop-up book  yang menarik dan kreatif. Hasil pelatihan ini adalah guru-guru SDN Tanjung 02 memberikan respons yang positif terhadap kegiatan pelatihan yang telah dilakukan. Para guru juga dapat mengembangkan kreativitas mereka selama pembuatan media pop-up book. Dengan demikian, literasi dasar siswa dalam membaca dan menulis akan meningkat pula.

Abstract

The use of learning styles affects learning interest or motivation, for example in learning mathematics. Interest in learning math in elementary schools is low due to the lack of media use. The engklek game can be used as one of the media used in learning math. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of using hopscoth ethnomathematics on interest in learning mathematics in grade IV elementary school. This study used an experimental method with a nonequivalent (Pretest and Posttest) Control Group Design. The research sample consisted of two groups, namely the experimental group using the hopscoth game media and the control group using conventional learning methods. Data analysis used t-test to see significant differences between the two groups. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in terms of interest and math learning outcomes.The experimental group that used crank game media showed a more significant increase in math learning outcomes compared to the control group. The results showed that the use of cricket game media had a positive effect on learning interest and math learning outcomes of fourth grade elementary school students.
