Abstract

This study examined the influence of teacher characteristics, education policies, and school quality on school effectiveness and high school student performance in Sukabumi. This study used a survey design and collected data from 300 teachers in 30 high schools in Sukabumi. The data were analyzed using structural equation modeling with SmartPLS. The results showed that teacher characteristics, education policies, and school quality had a significant positive impact on school effectiveness and high school student achievement. The study concludes that policies aimed at improving the quality of education, such as improving access to educational resources and providing teacher training programs, have a positive impact on school effectiveness.

Abstract

This research presents a comprehensive analysis of the ethical considerations in the age of artificial intelligence (AI) through bibliometric exploration and VOSviewer visualizations. The study systematically reviews scholarly literature to uncover prevailing themes, influential works, key authors, and emerging trends within AI ethics. The co-authorship analysis identifies collaborative networks, emphasizing interdisciplinary engagement in addressing ethical challenges. Keyword co-occurrence analysis highlights core themes, including big data, social value, algorithm, and ethical aspect, underscoring the multifaceted nature of AI ethics. Citation analysis reveals seminal works that have significantly shaped the discourse. The findings offer insights into the dynamic evolution of AI ethics, where diverse considerations intersect, from technology's societal impact to stakeholder management. The study's implications extend to researchers, policymakers, and practitioners, guiding responsible AI development aligned with human values.

Abstract

one important part of higher education is fieldwork lectures (KKL), which aim to combine theoretical learning with real-world work experience. This article discusses the positive impact of KKL on students, with particular emphasis on the benefits it gives them in personal development and preparation for future student careers. In addition to analyzing data from relevant literature, the study involved a thorough interview with students who have already attended fieldwork lectures (KKL). The results of the study show that KKL is very beneficial for student growth both in the field and outside the field. The practical skills that students acquire in the field, such as problem-solving, communication, and adaptability to the diverse work environment, are learned by students during the course of the KKL. This experience also gives them a better understanding of social issues, helps them understand real situations, and improves their understanding of real work. This fieldwork lecture program aims to bring students from the academic community into the more real world of the field, giving them invaluable practical experience.
