Abstract

Prevalensi hipertensi di Indonesia meningkat setiap tahunnya. Masalah utama yang sering dijumpai pada penderita hipertensi adalah tekanan darah yang tidak terkontrol dan nyeri kepala. Kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan meliputi pelatihan manajemen nyeri kepala nonfarmakologis, Pelatihan pengukuran tekanan darah, pelatihan self hipnosis dengan audiohipnoterapi untuk pengendalian tekanan darah dan nyeri kepala pada penderita hipertensi. Hasil evaluasi kegiatan menunjukkan 92,30% mitra mampu menjelaskan manajemen nyeri kepala non farmakologis, mampu melakukan pengukuran tekanan darah secara mandiri serta mampu mendemonstrasikan self hipnosis dengan audiohipnoterapi. Dari 26 anggota kelompok hipertensi terdapat 12 orang yang sedang mengalami nyeri kepala ringan sampai sedang. Setelah melakukan selfhipnosis dengan audioterapi 11 dari 12 orang tersebut menunjukkan penurunan skala nyeri kepala. Terdapat perbedaan bermakana sebelum dan setelah self hypnosis dengan p value < 0,001 untuk systole, p value 0,011 untuk diastole dan p value < 0,001 untuk nyeri kepala. Self hypnosis efektif menurunkan tekanan darah dan nyeri kepala kelompok penderita hipertensi.

Abstract

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic causes both physical and psychological stress, especially for people with hypertension. Stress conditions in patients with hypertension can cause uncontrolled blood pressure. The results of the interview with the Chair of the Sehati hypertension group revealed that the problem faced by sufferers during this pandemic was uncontrolled blood pressure as a result of psychological stress. The solutions offered include non-pharmacological psychological stress management training, training in measuring blood pressure and stress levels, as well as hypnotherapy training for controlling blood pressure and psychological stress in patients with hypertension. The results obtained included 100% of participants being able to mention non-pharmacological methods to control psychological stress, 93.33% of participants being able to explain the measurement of psychological stress, 86.67% able to demonstrate the use of hypnotherapy for stress control, 100% of participants who demonstrated a decrease in stress levels. psychologically from a score of 4-6 (moderate stress) to a score of 1-3 (mild stress) and showed a decrease in blood pressure. The implementation of training is effective in increasing the knowledge and skills of hypertension sufferers in managing psychological stress.

Abstract

The prevalence of hypertension in Indonesia is increasing every year. Based on the Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) in 2013 the prevalence of hypertension was 25.8%, while in the 2018 Riskesdas it increased to 34.1%. The results of the study stated that the prevalence of uncontrolled hypertension in Indonesia was high, which was more than 91%. Uncontrolled hypertension can cause stroke. The prevalence of stroke in Indonesia increases every year, based on Riskesdas in 2013 the prevalence of stroke was 7%0, while at Riskesdas in 2018 the prevalence of stroke was 10.9%0. The results of the survey of the hypertension group in Susukan Village, Sumbang Subdistrict showed that the majority of hypertension sufferers had low education (91.67%), low knowledge of hypertension (45.83%), uncontrolled blood pressure >140mmHg (83.33%), stroke prevention behavior was low (54.17%). Implementation methods include training on the introduction of hypertension, stroke risk and the benefits of Peer Group Education for stroke prevention, training on prevention of stroke in the hypertension group through a healthy lifestyle (diet, physical activity and stress management), training in early detection of stroke, training in blood pressure monitoring and style monitoring. life of hypertensive patients to prevent stroke. The results showed 90% of participants increased knowledge about hypertension as measured by HKLS, 90% of participants were able to explain a healthy diet in hypertension for stroke prevention, 100% of participants were able to explain physical activity or exercise in hypertension sufferers, 100% of participants were able to explain psychological stress management in hypertension. , 100% of the group were able to demonstrate blood pressure measurement, 100% of the group were able to fill out a healthy lifestyle monitoring sheet for patients with hypertension, 100% of the group were able to demonstrate early detection of stroke. Conclusion: Training increases the knowledge and skills of partners in stroke prevention effectively.
