Abstract

The increasingly advanced development of the world of construction requires all parties involved in the project to complete construction projects effectively and efficiently. Prior to the existence of the building information modeling method, construction project planners used conventional methods with the help of AutoCAD software in planning project drawings, but this method was considered to be inefficient both in terms of time, quality and cost. One of the effective and efficient methods for planning is to use the Building Information Modeling method. The BIM method has advantages such as being able to save costs and time as well as costs because in the process this method allows planners to manage data with precision and detail in 3D modeling of buildings. This study aims to design a 3D structural model of the Poltekkes Building of Palangka Raya City, which is located on Jalan George Obos, Palangka Raya City. The data from this study are secondary data, namely detailed engineering design drawings. The results of the design of the structural model using the building information modeling method produce a structural model and detailed explanation in the form of a 3D model.

Abstract

The rapid development of Indonesian construction, especially in the capital city of the Nusantara, which is undergoing intense development, requires all parties involved to work effectively and efficiently. A method is needed to face these challenges. The BIM method is considered superior in terms of effectiveness and efficiency compared to conventional methods. In the PT ITCI Hutani Manunggal dock access road construction package, the planning is still using conventional methods. So that the package is re-planned by implementing BIM. This research aims to redesign the horizontal and vertical alignment planning of roads located in Penajam Paser Utara Regency with the implementation of Building Information Modeling. In the research process, the data analysis technique uses the BIM method which consists of 4 stages, namely modeling of plan traces and profiles, horizontal alignment redesign, vertical alignment redesign, and 3D BIM visualization. This research uses secondary data, namely detailed engineering design drawings and lidar contours. The redesign results obtained 27 Intersect Points and 72 Vertical Intersect Points made road geometric adjustments in order to meet the minimum permitted standards. The implementation of BIM provides a clear initial picture of the form of road infrastructure that is built in an integrated manner.

Abstract

Project construction is a type of activity where time, resources, and costs are controlled and discussed to achieve a goal in the form of buildings or infrastructure. The construction of infrastructure and project construction activities require about 70-75% of the national cement consumption. The use of cement in Indonesia will increase in line with the growth of the national economy and the development of infrastructure and property. To balance rapid growth, Kota Palangka Raya needs infrastructure development. The goal of this research is to understand the shape of the Causal Loop supply chain of cement in Kota Palangka Raya. In the research process, data analysis techniques using dynamic system methods with Vensim software are used. This research uses primary data obtained from interviews with distributors and retail stores scattered in Kota Palangka Raya and secondary data obtained from literature reviews, including articles, books, and supporting research documents. The results of the Causal Loop supply chain of cement in Kota Palangka Raya show three cement brands, namely Gresik, Conch, and Tiga Roda, which are distributed in Kota Palangka Raya

Abstract

The rapid development of construction projects and population growth in Indonesia creates a great need for facility development. A project is a method that combines a series of temporary activities with a starting and ending point. In construction service companies, a common problem that often occurs is human resource management. Human resource planning methods that are not optimal and their allocation is uneven can hamper project completion. This article aims to analyze the allocation of labor, especially in the school construction project on Jalan Kecipir. The research was carried out for 3 three months, from December 2023 – February 2024. The required data was collected by conducting literature studies and requesting data from related parties. The data analysis technique used is the Resource Leveling method using Microsoft Project Software. The results show that the allocation of labor in the school building construction project on Jalan Kecipir is uneven and experiencing overall allocation (excess allocation). There are several types of workers whose labor requirements exceed the limit of labor availability, including workers, foremen, bricklayers, head carpenters, carpenters and ironworkers. With the highest demand for each workforce, there are 54 workers, 12 foremen, 18 bricklayers, 6 head carpenters, 20 carpenters and 15 ironworkers
