Abstract

This study is entitled Analysis of Sentence Structure and Patterns in the Writing of Children with Moderate Intellectual Disabilities IQ 40-50: Syntax Study. The purpose is to determine the writing ability of children with mental retardation by analyzing structure and pattern of sentences obtained from them essays. The data in this study were obtained using listening techniques and skillful fishing techniques. The method used is the orthographic equivalent method. In addition, researchers also used the Distribusional Agih method with the BUL technique. Sources of data obtained in this study came from students of Purnama Asih Special School, people with moderate mental retardation with an average IQ of 40-50 as informants. The results showed that the types of writing for children with mental retardation included single sentences, equivalent compound sentences, and multilevel compound sentences. Equivalent compound sentences and multi-level compound sentences often appear imperfectly.

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Bersamaan dengan pertumbuhan pinjol, muncul pula kekhawatiran terkait etika komunikasi antara perusahaan pinjol dan konsumen, terutama dalam interaksi melalui media sosial seperti WhatsApp. Salah satu fenomena yang muncul adalah ketidaksantunan berbahasa yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan pinjol dalam mengancam konsumen melalui pesan teks. Ketidaksantunan berbahasa dalam penagihan hutang dapat menyebabkan konsumen merasa terintimidasi, stres, dan cemas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi ketidaksantunan berbahasa yang digunakan oleh aplikasi pinjaman online dalam mengancam konsumen melalui media sosial WhatsApp. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan mengadopsi pendekatan pragmatik, penelitian ini mendasarkan analisisnya pada kerangka teoretis Culpeper tentang ketidaksantunan berbahasa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi pinjaman online sering menggunakan strategi ketidaksantunan berbahasa dalam ancaman kepada konsumen. Strategi-strategi tersebut mencakup penggunaan ketidaksantunan secara langsung, positif, negatif, sarkasme atau kesantunan semu, serta menahan kesantunan. Penggunaan strategi ini dapat mempengaruhi hubungan antara aplikasi pinjaman online dan konsumen, menciptakan ketegangan dan ketidakpuasan. Implikasi pragmatik dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya kesadaran dan peningkatan kesantunan berbahasa dalam komunikasi antara aplikasi pinjaman online dan konsumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat sebanyak 107 data strategi ketidaksantunan yang terdiri dari ketidaksantunan langsung, ketidaksantunan negatif, ketidaksantunan positif, ketidaksantunan semu, dan menahan kesantunan. KATA KUNCI: Berbahasa; Culpeper; Ketidaksantunan; Pinjaman Online; Whatsapp. THE STRATEGY OF CULPEPER LANGUAGE DISABILITY IN THE THREAT OF ONLINE LOAN APPLICATIONS THROUGH WHATSAPP SOCIAL MEDIA: A PRAGMATIC STUDY ABSTRACT: Along with the growth of pinjol, concerns have also emerged regarding communication ethics between pinjol companies and consumers, especially in interactions through social media such as WhatsApp. One phenomenon that has emerged is the impoliteness of language used by loan shark companies in threatening consumers through text messages. Language impoliteness in debt collection can cause consumers to feel intimidated, stressed, and anxious. This study aims to analyse the language impoliteness strategies used by online loan applications in threatening consumers through WhatsApp social media. This study uses qualitative research by adopting a pragmatic approach, this study bases its analysis on Culpeper's theoretical framework on language impoliteness. The results show that online loan applications often use language impoliteness strategies in threatening consumers. These strategies include the use of direct, positive, negative, sarcasm or false politeness, and withholding politeness. The use of these strategies can affect the relationship between online loan apps and consumers, creating tension and dissatisfaction. The pragmatic implication of this research is the need for awareness and improvement of language politeness in communication between online loan applications and consumers. The results showed that there were 107 impoliteness strategy data consisting of bald on record impoliteness, positive impoliteness, negative impoliteness, mock impoliteness or sarcasm, and withholding politeness.KEYWORDS: Language; Culpeper; Incivility; Online Loan; Whatsapp.
