Abstract

The talaqqi method is a learning approach that focuses on direct interaction between teachers and students. The aim of this method is to improve learning achievement through a personal approach that involves deep understanding, reflection, and individual coaching. In the context of education, the talaqqi method has proven effective in optimizing learning outcomes. This study aims to investigate the effect of the talaqqi method on student achievement. The talaqqi method provides opportunities for students to engage in in-depth interactions with the teacher, obtain direct feedback, and reflect on the subject matter. This helps improve students' understanding of concepts, cognitive skills, and learning motivation. In addition, the talaqqi method also has a positive impact on forming close relationships between teachers and students. Teachers can recognize the individual needs of students and provide appropriate coaching. Students feel more comfortable and actively involved in the learning process, thus creating a sense of responsibility for their own achievements. The implementation of the talaqqi method in learning the Koran begins with memuraja'ah with the letters that have been memorized. Then the teacher mentally recites or reads the verses that the children will read or memorize. After the teacher reads it, the students reread the verses that have been read over and over again so that the child can quickly read and memorize when the verses are memorized.

Abstract

The Kuttab An-Nubuwwah education system is an education system inspired by kuttab education in classical times. Kuttab is an educational institution that has a long history. The emergence of this education system is expected to be able to answer the needs of society, especially Muslims towards improving the quality of life in line with Islamic teachings and in accordance with the times. The formulation of the problems in this study include: (1) What is the educational model of the kuttab system implemented at Kuttab An-Nubuwwah? (2) What is the specialty of moral education with the kuttab system in Kuttab An-Nubuwwah? (3) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing moral education at Kuttab An-Nubuwwah?. In order to answer the formulation of the problem, the researcher uses a type of field research (field research) which is descriptive qualitative in nature. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the kuttab system educational model applied in An-Nubuwwah kuttab is an educational model that focuses on mastery of Al-Qur`an and Faith material in accordance with the intellectual level of the students. The curriculum used is the local curriculum which includes Al-Qur`an, Faith, and General Subjects (MPU). The approaches used include exemplary approaches (uswatun hasanah) and habituation. The learning methods used are talaqqi, tasmi', murojaah, lectures, questions and answers, stories, parables, and others. The evaluation used in Kuttab An-Nubuwwah is a test in written and oral form including memorization tests, formative tests and summative tests. The supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of education in this kuttab are the facilities and infrastructure, the number of students in each halaqah, teachers and parents.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the implications of the managerial competency of school principals in improving the performance of elementary school teachers. This study uses a qualitative approach. The collection of data obtained from various sources, backgrounds and various methods in this research is through mini-research and literature studies. The results of this study indicate that the competence of the principal in improving the performance of elementary school teachers, namely in planning the principal makes an annual school work plan (RKTS) which concerns 8 educational standards, provides SKP criteria (employee performance targets) at the beginning of the year as a guide for teacher assessment by the school principal, in practice organizes and involves teachers in scientific forums such as education and training (upgrading/in-service training, workshops and seminars), in the direction of the Principal supervises the education of teachers (class visit techniques, private talks, and group discussions) , as well as the efforts made by the Principal as a manager in improving performance is to build good communication with all teachers in building a productive work culture. The managerial competence of the principal at Kuttab An-Nubuwwah in improving teacher performance has been carried out in accordance with the stages of management properly. The managerial function of the Principal as one of the efforts to improve teacher performance, the implementation of the managerial functions of the Principal with an education management approach carried out by the Principal has carried out the stages of management which include planning, implementation and evaluation but in terms of management functions have not been optimized, in carry out an education management approach to the process of the Principal's managerial function.

Abstract

The Islamic boarding school education system is an education system inspired by education in classical times. Islamic boarding school is a religious institution that teaches, develops and disseminates Islamic religious knowledge. The emergence of this education system is expected to be able to answer the needs of society, especially Muslims towards improving the quality of life in line with Islamic teachings and in accordance with the times. The formulation of the problems in this study include: first, how is the learning concept in the Riyadlul Muta'alimin PKPPS Equalization Program for Wustha? Second, what is the education curriculum at PKPPS Riyadlul Muta'alimin Wustha Equalization Program, third, What are the educational learning methods at PKPPS Riyadlul Muta'alimin Wustha Equalization Program fourth, What is the appeal of Islamic boarding schools so that many people entrust their sons and daughters to study at Muta' alimin Wustha Equalization Program? In order to answer the formulation of the problem, the researcher uses a type of field research (field research) which is descriptive qualitative in nature. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the educational model of the PKPPS Riyadlul Muta'alimin Wustha Yritu Equalization Program uses the bandongan, sorogan, halaqoh and classical methods. The curriculum used is a unification between the Islamic boarding school curriculum and curriculum 13. There are many aspects that attract people to entrust their children to PKPPS Riyadlul Muta'alimin Wustha Equalization Program, one of which is having a religious culture or Islamic habits. In Sukabumi Regency, Riradlul Muta'alimin PKPPS is a solution for parents whose children are studying religious education as well as studying general knowledge education. By producing graduates who not only visually gain knowledge but are also proven by diplomas as a form of recognition that equality has carried out education. Abstract

Islam gained great attention in the study of religion due to the development and global influence on the world Muslim population. An understanding of Islam as a religion and understanding of religion from the viewpoint of Islam is an issue that needs to be elaborated in the discussion and the discussion in the field of religious studies. The failure of religious studies to standardize itself as a 'discipline', although many emerging religious studies. The position of those who want to ask "how" to learn Islam as a religion perplexed by tendencies on compartmentalization in education. The failure of religious studies to standardize itself as a scientific discipline, but the outlook is promising because someday they may be separate disciplines by seeking consensus regarding curriculum, problem solving, and performance criteria and become academic background. Abstract

This study aims to gain an in-depth understanding of the holistic education concept applied in the Assajidin Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT). The study used a qualitative approach involving the participation of 7 teachers and 20 students as key informants. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, class observations, and analysis of related documents. The results of the study show that SDIT Assajidin applies a holistic educational approach that includes intellectual, emotional, physical, social and spiritual aspects. Teachers at SDIT Assajidin act as facilitators in creating a learning environment that supports the overall development of students. They use a variety of active, innovative, and creative learning strategies to facilitate students' conceptual understanding and character development. In addition, students at SDIT Assajidin are actively involved in learning through group discussions, collaborative projects, and relevant extracurricular activities. This learning process helps students to develop critical thinking skills, creativity, communication, cooperation, and leadership. During the implementation of the curriculum, SDIT Assajidin instilled Islamic values ​​in all aspects of learning, both in religious and non-religious subjects. Teachers also help students understand and apply Islamic values ​​in everyday life through examples and real experiences. This study provides an overview of the implementation of the holistic education concept at SDIT Assajidin. The results of this study are expected to provide deeper insight and understanding of holistic educational practices in an integrated Islamic school environment. The implications of this research can be used as input for curriculum development and holistic educational practices at SDIT as well as being a reference for other schools interested in adopting a similar approach.

Abstract

The 1945 Constitution emphasizes that one of the goals of the state is to educate the life of the nation. This is relevant to the 1945 Constitution No. 20 of 2003 concerning the national education system which states that every citizen has the right to education. In this case the government is responsible for progress in national education Then, from that, various schools emerged by developing models and systems adapted to the needs of the community and the condition of the nation's children who were not free from all deficiencies in learning, both in terms of achievement and character. As a formal educational institution, the school carries out various innovations to integrate the development of character education with the Boarding School, particularly through a pesantren-based education system. One approach is through the pesantren system, which is a social institution that places great emphasis on developing students' character in addition to their academic understanding. To get to know Al-Ghifari Terpadu Islamic Boarding School further, it is a school with private status, which was founded in 1998 and is located on Jl. Selabintana KM. 6, 7, Selabatu, Sudajaya Girang, Kec. Sukabumi, Sukabumi Regency, West Java 43151. In terms of the quality of education, Al-Ghifari Integrated Middle School has been accredited “A”. and certainly has won many achievements in various championships. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Where the researcher tested the validity of the data by means of Source Triangulation, namely by conducting interviews with school heads and educators and teaching staff which was conducted on April 15 2023 and followed up with periodic communications. The findings of the researchers, in addition to getting a very extraordinary experience, the authors get various lessons out of the ordinary. Where the author knows a lot about the various education systems in it so as to increase knowledge and schools with a boarding school system are considered quite effective in building the character, character and morals of students so that they are maintained.

Abstract

The preamble to the 1945 Constitution confirms that one of the goals of the state is to educate the life of the nation. This is relevant to article 31 of the 1945 Constitution on education which states that every citizen has the right to be taught. In this case the government is responsible for progress in national education. As human beings, children with special needs have the right to grow and develop in the midst of family, society and nation. He has the right to go to school just like any other brother who has no abnormalities or is normal. Allah Almighty has the noble intention that parents have children with special needs, and people must believe in this by obeying Him. To get to know more about the school of children with special needs (ABK), the author conducted a small study in a school in which specifically were ABK students. The school is called Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) A Budi Nurani and is located on Jl. Lio Balandongan Complex Propelat number 169 Sudajaya hilir district Baros sukabumi city, West Java Indonesia. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. Where researchers test the validity of the data by triangulation of sources, namely by conducting interviews with principals and educators and educators which were carried out on April 7, 2022 and followed up with periodic communication. The findings of researchers, in addition to gaining extraordinary experience, the author learned various lessons beyond the usual ones. Where not all humans are created intact and normal as usual, and the ways and learning processes are different and vary according to the conditions of the students. Within its limitations, every human being has advantages in other fields.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the implications of collaborating group discussion methods with Problem Solving Learning in improving students' problem solving skills at SDN Pelita Jaya. This research uses qualitative research methods with a mini research approach to gain in-depth insight into interactions between students in structured learning. For three weeks, research was conducted at SDN Pelita Jaya involving sixth grade students. The group discussion method is used to facilitate student interaction in discussing Islamic ethical and moral values. Students are also given ethical situations or problems that require them to find solutions based on Islamic moral principles through the Problem Solving Learning approach. Qualitative data was collected through participant observation, interviews with students, and document analysis. The results of the analysis show a significant increase in students' ability to identify, analyze and overcome problems with a structured and directed approach. Apart from that, this collaborative learning method also strengthens student involvement in the learning process. This research provides in-depth insight into the positive potential of collaborative group discussion methods with Problem Solving Learning in improving students' problem solving skills. The results of these findings can provide a valuable contribution to the development of more effective learning strategies, especially in Islamic Religious Education subjects.

Abstract

The background of this article is the need to understand human cognitive development according to Jean Piaget, focusing on the basic concepts and stages of development. The purpose of this study is to explore and apply Piaget's cognitive development theory in the context of learning. The research method used is a literature review, where various sources are analyzed to gain a deeper understanding of the topic. This study employs a descriptive research design to identify the challenges faced by teachers in recognizing and adjusting teaching approaches to the cognitive uniqueness of each student. The research findings highlight the importance of applying learning models that align with Piaget's theory to enhance the effectiveness of the learning process. This article proposes several learning models that can be integrated into educational practice, offering practical insights for educators in supporting students' cognitive development. The implications of this research are to assist educators and curriculum developers in implementing more effective and appropriate approaches based on cognitive development theory in the learning process. Keywords: Cognitive Development, Jean Piaget, Learning, Developmental Theory, Literature Review   Abstrak: Latar belakang artikel ini adalah kebutuhan untuk memahami perkembangan kognitif manusia menurut Jean Piaget, dengan fokus pada konsep dasar dan tahapan perkembangan. Tujuan penulisan adalah untuk mengeksplorasi dan mengaplikasikan teori perkembangan kognitif Piaget dalam konteks pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah tinjauan pustaka (literature review), di mana berbagai sumber dianalisis untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang topik tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif untuk mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi guru dalam mengenali dan menyesuaikan pendekatan pembelajaran dengan keunikan kognitif setiap siswa. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan pentingnya penerapan model pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan teori Piaget untuk meningkatkan efektivitas proses belajar. Artikel ini mengusulkan beberapa model pembelajaran yang dapat diintegrasikan ke dalam praktik pendidikan, menawarkan wawasan praktis bagi para pendidik dalam mendukung perkembangan kognitif siswa. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membantu pendidik dan pengembang kurikulum mengimplementasikan pendekatan yang lebih efektif dan sesuai dengan teori perkembangan kognitif dalam proses pembelajaran.
