Abstract

Indonesia is one of the largest coal-producing countries in the world but is weak in the utilization, technology, and management of coal. Meanwhile, Japan is a developed industrial country with the largest energy consumption in the world, but its resources are limited, so it relies on imports from other countries such as Indonesia. So that there is a coal export-import trade cooperation with the formation of the IJEPA and IJCPD cooperation as bilateral cooperation between Indonesia and Japan which carries the basic concept of the EPA. The purpose of this research is to find out that Indonesian coal exports to Japan can provide benefits for both countries and meet their respective interests. countries viewed in an international political economy review. This research uses the library research method. Japan in fulfilling its energy consumption cannot be separated from trading with other countries such as importing coal from Indonesia which is manifested in the IJCPD Cooperation which is one of the cooperation frameworks in IJEPA, providing great opportunities for Indonesia to maximize management, technology, utilization of coal and bring in investors in Indonesia. . Indonesia and Japan in fulfilling their political economy interests under the auspices of the IJEPA cooperation, in which Japan has established itself as a guarantor country for economic and political stability in the East to Southeast Asia region. Meanwhile, Indonesia had the opportunity to equalize its position and compete with other competing countries that had established cooperation with Japan in the Japanese market.

Abstract

Regionalism in international relations has been a contemporary phenomenon since the world entered its 20th century. In Southeast Asia, Indonesia as one member of ASEAN has managed consolidating  the country’s position in trade cooperation and competition. With  setting up its economic community of MEA in 2015, ASEAN has focused on trade sector cooperation. Given the strategic position of Indonesia where two third of ASEAN demands for goods and services are supplied by Indonesia, the setting up of ASEAN economic community (MEA) is crucial for individual members to compete and cooperate. How would Indonesia take this opportunity? The paper discusses the factors that need more attention in such areas as government regulation, technology, competitiveness, and innovation. While natural resources and Indonesia’s strategic position in terms of geography and trade route are there to exist, those factors will determine whether Indonesia will be the winner or the loser.  Keywords : regionalism, strategic factors, cooperation, competition, competitiveness.

Abstract

Pembangunan nasional merupakan sebuah keniscayaan dalam mengimbangi perkembangan, kemajuan dan persaingan antar negara. Bagi negara berkembang termasuk Indonesia, pembangunan diarahkan untuk memperkuat ekonomi nasional dalam mewujudkan kemandirian ekonomi.  Kemandirian ekonomi  dapat terwujud bila produksi dan kebijakan industrialisasi  dilakukan secara efeisien diimbangi dengan pola ditribusi barang dan pemerataan eknomi yang dapat menjangkau msyarakat  secara keseluruhan. Distribusi ekonomi diperlukan melalui  ketersediaan infrastruktur yang memadai didukung dan  oleh ketersediaan angaran yang bersumber dari dalam negeri.  Salah satu sumber pembiayaan yang perlu dipertimbangkan  melalui kebijakan privitasiasi dan penembangan model pembiayaan melalui pemanfaatan aset BUMN yang cukup besar

Abstract

Of several arguments explaining about the success of economic development   of a country is the high rate of growth. Claims are made that indicative of prospect for such growth is the development of infrastructure. And the “philosophy” of economic development is the call for foreign investment and foreign debts to be invited to the country. What is missing is, instead, the hidden economic disparity that is potential in putting infrastructure development top priority. Unless control over the high rate is made effective, the high rate of growth would correlate with economic disparity whereby the regime in power would undergo more risks and in the long run would deteriorate political legitimacy.    Indonesia’s gini ratio index in the last three years has been at 0.42 indicating strong alarm of danger. Unless improvement is made Indonesia is likely to encounter social chaos. The paper is an account of the issue in the perspective of political economy.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan,  menjelaskan relasi penguatan pemberdayaan UMKM, Inovasi Sosial dan Kolaborasi antar sektor dalam memperkuat ekonomi nasional melalui pendayagunaan sektor UMKM. Pemberdayaan sektor usaha mikro, kecil dan menengah merupakan salah satu upaya pemerintah  dalam memulihkan dan membangkitkan ekonomi nasional yang terpuruk akibat dampak pandemi Covid-19. Peran UMKM dalam ekonomi nasional sangat strategis dikaitkan dengan penyerapan tenaga kerja dan kontribusi terhadap pembangunan ekonomi secara berkelanjutan. Penelitian empiris menunjukan bahwa sektor UMKM mampu menurunkan angka kemiskinan, pengangguran dan mendorong pemerataan kegiatan pembangunan ekonomi  serta memberikan multiflier effect ekonomi yang lebih luas. Pemberdayaan merupakan instrumen kebijakan yang dapat meningkatkan kapasitas UMKM baik dalam sisi produksi, inovasi maupun dalam bidang distribusi dan perluasan pasar. Gerakan pemberdayaan UMKM bisa dilakukan dengan membangkitkan dan mendekatkan potensi dan gerakan inovasi  sosial melalui penguatan informasi tekhnologi, kolaborasi ekonomi, perluasan informasi berbasis media sosial, yang diperkuat melalui  kolaborasi antar organisasi melalui  format  kelembagaan  di tataran level kebijakan pemerintah pusat dan  daerah melalui  pengembangan model kolaboratif (Collaborative Governance)

Abstract

The economic recovery agenda of developing countries during the pandemic raises hopes for the G20 as the main international economic forum. Indonesia's chairmanship at the G20 in 2022 is an important moment for the government to strengthen partnerships between developing countries and developed countries in delivering economic recovery and narrowing the gap in inequality in the global economic recovery. Indonesia's role in delivering a productive, resilient and equitable economic recovery reflects the benefits of the G20 forum through the promotion of cooperation and partnerships through Indonesia's chairmanship approach and initiatives in realizing other developing countries more equal to developed countries. Indonesia'sP osisi in various previous international forums has been shown with extraordinary achievements, including through the international forum ASEM (Asia Europe Meeting, Forum Asian Pacific Economi Cooperation (APEC) and G7 which later became Government Twenty G20. Indonesia's reliability in international forums with the ability of global and regional economic diplomacy by utilizing the strategic position carried out in various international meetings including encouraging domestic and foreign climate, is evidence that Indonesia can be a rake on the interests of developing countries , especially those related to financial issues, post-Covid economic recovery and budget mitigation agendas and the impact of economic stability. global over the Russian- Ukranian conflict
