Abstract

This research is entitled "Framing Analysis of the Murder of Brigadier Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat by Ferd Sambo on Kompas.com." The background of this research is because the murder of Brigadier Nofriasnyah Yosua Hutabarat by Ferdi Sambo is one of the major events in the history of the police because the police shot the police and were tried by the police.The purpose discussed in this research is to find out how the news is framing related to the Murder of Brigadier Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat by Ferdi Sambo in online media Kompas.com. Based on the results of this study by analyzing 8 news stories, the results obtained were that related to the reporting on the Murder of Brigadier Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat by Ferdi Sambo, Kompas.com media tried objectively by positioning Ferdi Sambo and Putri Chandrawati to have planned the case and promised 1M money, Iphone brand cellphones for brother Richard Eliezer Pudihang Lumiu, Ricky Rizal and Strong Ma,ruf..
