Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian bahwa SDN Sukamanah 01 sejak tahun 1990 sampai sekarang komite sekolah hanya berjumlah satu orang, sehingga peneliti tertarik meneliti mengapa SDN Sukamanah 01 tidak menambah anggota komite sekolah sesuai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan bagaimana peran komite sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan agama Islam di SDN Sukamanah 01 Kecamatan Megamendung Bogor. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah tehnik analisi data deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran komite sekolah di SDN Sukamanah 01 dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan masih belum optimal disebabkan beberapa hal yaitu  karena komite sekolah hanya satu orang, komite sekolah tidak selalu berada di sekolah. Hal ini dikarenakan komite memiliki pekerjaan diluar tugas sebagai komite sekolah. Begitu juga peran komite sebagai pemberi pertimbangan belum baik. Hal ini terjadi karena komite sekolah tidak mengetahui langsung keadaan di sekolah sehingga selalu menyetujui apapun yang kepala sekolah laporkan. Mutu pendidikan agama Islam di SDN Sukamanah 01 ini sudah baik meskipun komite sekolah tidak sepenuhnya memberikan masukan. Abstract

The problem in this research is about the low performance of PAI teachers. The purpose of this research is to find out the role of school principals in improving the performance of PAI teachers at MI At-Taufieq Jakarta and what hinders school principals from improving the performance of PAI teachers at MI At-Taufieq Jakarta. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research methods, with data collection techniques through: Interviews, Observation and Documentation. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the MI AtTaufieq Jakarta principal carries out functions and roles according to competence as a school principal. The principal performs his role in improving teacher performance with work programs: focusing on curriculum development and teaching and learning activities in schools, developing the creativity of PAI teachers in teaching by making annual, semester and learning program plans and following the existing curriculum, namely the 2013 curriculum, fulfilling the need for facilities and infrastructure, and enforce discipline in the school environment by setting an example of being present on time during working hours. The implementation of the work program has been going quite well although there are still obstacles such as: constraints on meeting the needs of facilities and infrastructure, the teacher's closed attitude, and the uneven distribution of teacher expertise in using computers using the internet. The school principal is responsive to existing problems. The principal provides motivation by supervising the performance of PAI teachers directly and indirectly.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe how students should be managed in religion-based schools, especially Islam. The research method is qualitative through a library study approach developed from Suharsimi Arikunto theory of management and Shafique Ali Khan's about students. Data collection techniques with utilization studies and data processing with reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research: (1) management is a way of carrying out an organization's work program. (2) students are people who come to school to seek knowledge. (3) student management is the way schools regulate student work programs which are carried out in several ways: (a) student admission is carried out by tests of general intelligence on subjects and religion by tests on reading the Koran and knowledge of the pillars of Islam and faith. (b) placement of students by mixing smart and less intelligent students and placing them in classrooms according to gender. (c) student entry and return routes, not carried out in one door but distinguishing entrances for male and female students. (d) extracurricular programs: preachers, tahfidz and personality development of students through leadership, purification and cooking.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to analyze and describe curriculum management, the impacts challenges and opportunities faced by Integrated Islamic Elementary School in implementing curriculum management. The research method is qualitative through a case study approach. Data gathering methods include conducting interviews with various stakeholders such as school principals, religious teachers, class teachers, administrative staff, students, and parents. Additionally, documentation and observation approaches are employed.   Methods for data processing include reduction, display, and drawing conclusions.   Data validity strategies encompass credibility through the utilisation of source and technique triangulation, as well as confirmability.   The findings of the study indicate (1) Management of the curriculum:   (a) Planning: Organising annual meetings and school work meetings.   (b) Implementation: Inculcating religious ideals through extracurricular activities by studying iqra', tauhid values, and moral principles.   Co-curricular activities involve engaging in collective recitation and communal prayer.   Engaging in extracurricular activities like tahfidz (Quran memorization) and da'i (Islamic preaching).   (c) Evaluation: School principals assess curriculum performance through supervision and observation, while teachers review and enhance it by assigning tasks, conducting examinations, and holding mid-term exams and end-of-semester meetings. (2) Impact: Student academic performance improves, pupils develop a strong Islamic character, and the learning process is successful.   The constraints include a lack of financial resources for teacher training and infrastructure, limited time for implementation, and the absence of government policy.   Opportunity: enhanced faculty, comprehensive facilities, consistent operational schedule, and transformation into an institution with an Islamic ethos.   Conclusion: The management of the curriculum is functioning according to expectations.   Recommendation: It is advisable for schools to incorporate community stakeholders, in addition to student guardians, in the process of curriculum preparation.
