Abstract

The problem behind this research is related to learning methods in mathematics lessons that are carried out in the form of lectures and homework assignments so that it has an impact on students' lack of interest in learning which is marked by students' lack of enthusiasm in mathematics and less active in class which causes low student learning outcomes. . The purpose of this research is to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes through collaborative problem based learning (pbl) methods and audiovisual media that are adapted to process standards. This research was conducted with class action steps consisting of 2 cycles with each meeting 3 times. The subjects of this study were the fourth grade students of SDN 07 Tiumang with a total of 41 students. The assessment instrument uses a written test and criteria in the form of limited description questions and observation sheets. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes in mathematics as seen from the class average score. The value before intervention was 68.7. The value in the first cycle increased to 78.5 and increased again in the second cycle to 87.8. The student's completeness score before the intervention was 42.9%. Completeness in the first cycle was 76.9% and increased again in the second cycle to 90.47%. The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of collaborative problem based learning (pbl) methods and audiovisual media adapted to process standards on student learning outcomes in mathematics. Suggestions for this research are that teachers are expected to be able to apply this method to increase student activity and learning outcomes in mathematics, and can add work in the school library, can complement the weaknesses of previous learning and find new things, namely collaboration problem based learning (pbl) methods and audiovisual media

Abstract

The problem behind this research is the many benefits of studying mathematics in solving math problems itself, problems in other subjects, and problems in everyday life so that this study aims to make teachers able to innovate optimally to grow and increase motivation to learn mathematics in elementary school students. 07 Tiumang using Contextual Teaching and Learning Approach. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) Collaborative Pattern using the Kemmis and Mc cycle model. Taggart which consists of 2 cycles, each cycle consists of 2 meetings. The research subjects were the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 07 Tiumang as many as 22 students. The research instrument has been tested for validity using Expert Judgment & Product Moment Correlation and then tested for reliability using Alpha Cronbach. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The results showed that in the first cycle students' learning motivation in the sufficient category was 58.1% and an increase in the second cycle in the good category was 74.4%. The average value of students in the first cycle is 59 with a learning mastery value of 63.15% then an increase in the second cycle with an average student score of 68.95 with a learning mastery value is 89.47%. The conclusion of this study is that the contextual teaching and learning approach to flat-shaped material for students at SD Negeri 07 Tiumang can increase student motivation and learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstrak The condition of learning mathematics until now is still dominated by the teacher as a provider of knowledge so that students get more information from the teacher's explanations alone, as a result the students' thinking is less developed. The impact of this learning is that the results of learning mathematics are not optimal. Question Students Have is a strategy to encourage students to have the courage to ask questions in written form. The purpose of this study was to determine student learning outcomes taught using the Question Students Have strategy in Class VI students at SDN 07 Tiumang. The type of research used in this research is experimental research, namely Pre-Experimental with the One Group Pre-test and Post-test research design. The sample of this research was 23 Class VI students at SDN 07 Tiumang, Dharmasraya Regency. The research instruments used in this study were student learning outcomes tests, documentation and observation sheets. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis with PTK cycles. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes in mathematics seen from the class average score. The value before the intervention was 39.78%. The value in cycle I increased to 67.82% and there was another increase in cycle II to 82.40%. Based on these results it was concluded that the Question Students Have strategy can improve the learning outcomes of mathematics in class VI students at SDN 07 Tiumang.

Abstract

The problem underlying this research is that most students lack interest in mathematics lessons because the core of learning mathematics is reasoning so students are encouraged to look for various reference sources both manually and digitally to understand, analyze, relate one concept to another in mathematics subjects and This process is often confusing for students so that it seems boring. Therefore, to increase interest in learning mathematics, PTK was made for 23 students in class V at SDN 07 Tiumang in April 2022 using the learning strategy of Everyone Is A Teacher Here. This strategy is expected to provide opportunities for each student to become a teacher and teach again to other friends. The method used is the test and questionnaire method. The results showed that there was an increase in students' interest in mathematics as seen from the class average score. The value before the intervention was 16.52%. The value in cycle I increased to 59.12 and there was another increase in cycle II to 82.60. Based on these results it was concluded that the Everyone Is A Teacher Here strategy can increase interest in learning mathematics in grade 5 students at SDN 07 Tiumang.
