A comparative analysis between Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0 was conducted to investigate their alignment impact towards e-commerce. After thorough examination and comparison, the study concluded that the technology in Society 5.0 is part of the continuation of Industry 4.0 technology. Furthermore, there is technological synergy between electronic commerce as well as the industry 4.0 period and Society 5.0, with electronic commerce technology adapting to the technology of each era.
