Abstract

Children  with emotional and behavioral disorders are one of  kind children with special education need.  Education as a basic right of every child in Indonesia, especially children with emotional and behaviour disorder, has not been fully realized, this is due to the lack of awareness of parents and teachers. The earlier the children with emotional and behaviour disorders are detected, the higher the expectation to recovery is, so special elementary school for emotional and behaviour disorder facilities are essential. For designing a building that maximizes space program and environmental atmosphere available with the type of needs and program activities that take place, the healing environment is chosen as a design solution at the planned school. Healing environment is related to the creation of an environment that affects health by influencing action and interaction by applying the sensory, natural, and psychological aspects. Aspects of the healing environment will be applied to the spatial, site, form and mass arrangement, and landscape.

Abstract

Designing Interactive Pluit Reservoir Park motivated by the needs unmet green space in the city of Jakarta. The existence of green space can be function as a public space by residents. Public space is a container that takes residents to interact socially in outer space. Pluit Reservoir ia a new green space that also has another function as a public space. Green open space in the middle of the urban environment helps to improve the climate and environment of the city. Design issues is the need for Jakarta residents of an ideal public space can not be fully met by local governments such as the activities housed, circulation, utilities, as well as physical and psycological comfort. Design method used is based on the theory of an ideal open space concept. Ideal open space concept obtained through environmental comfort, convenience visitor psychology, the need of relaxation, active activities, and passive activities within the park. These criteris are the basis for the design of Interactive at Pluit Reservoir Park. The result obtained are design Interactive park that can accommodate not only residents but also social needs, make room for plants to grow and thrive for the preservation and welfare of the citizens of Jakarta.Keyword : City Green Space, Interactive Park, Public space

Abstract

Abstract: Emha Ainun Nadjib’s house representation of human body make an effort for harmonizing public and private space, as well as the balance of human body’s appearance and function. The concept  of fairness and honesty of Cak Nun’s house resolved through tectonic architecture of YB. Mangunwijaya that concern on exposing construction, lightweight structure, small building mass and the principle of locality. Cak Nun’s house as also a cultural center where people doing arts and spiritual activism so the building should give an inspiration and good effect for the environment and society. The principle of locality affect the use of  structure and building construction, form and building orientation also the use of renewable material. The material used are bamboo, coconut wood, stone, clay and straw. Key words: YB. Mangunwijaya tectonic architecture, Emha Ainun Nadjib’s house, Bamboo, Coconut wood, Stone, Clay, Straw.

Abstract

Sea turtle is classified into endangered animal. One of the areas which is designated as sea turtle conservation area in Indonesia is located at Trisik Beach, Kulonprogo. The government’s sea turtle conservation effort is supported by the Penyu Abadi Conservation Group, that has been carrying out sea turtle conservation activities since 2004. By the development of this conservation activities, in 2018, Dinas Pariwisata Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta finally planned a development program for the attractiveness of sea turtle conservation areas on the southern coast of Yogyakarta, including Trisik Beach. One form of developing the attraction of conservation areas is sea turtle educational tourism object. The development of a sea turtle conservation area into a tourist attraction for sea turtle education should not disturb the balance of the natural ecosystem of Trisik Beach sea turtle nesting.  Therefore, the problem formulated in this research is what aspects must be fulfilled to realize the recreational sea turtle educational tourism, by paying attention to its main function as a supporter of regional marine conservation activities. The problem solving is done by applying the applied research methods, namely the type of research that aims to provide practical solutions for the problem. This research produced some guidelines that can be implemented in the development of Trisik Beach sea turtle conservation area, to be the basis for future development planning.
