Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan terdapat siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS dibawah KKM. Dalam proses pembelajaran menggunakan metode konvensional yang membuat siswa asik bermain sendiri, tidak minat, serta monoton sehingga siswa malas untuk belajar mata belajar IPS. Metode konvesional juga tidak melibatkan siswa dikarenakan berpusat pada guru saja. Dari situlah yang menyebabkan hasil belajar siswa menurun atau rendah. Salah satu cara yang tepat mengunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick dikarenakan dalam model ini siswa dapat melatih siswa untuk berkerjasama, saling membantu dalam pengetahuan, pemahanan, serta kemampuan. Dari model tersebut agar pembelajaran inovasi, kreatif, dan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian skripsi ini yaitu, (1) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model kooperatif tipe talking stick terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS materi perubahan masyarakat Indonesia pada masa penjajahan Kelas VIII MTsN 3 Tulungagung ?, (2) Untuk mengetahui besar pengaruh penggunaan model kooperatif tipe talking stick terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS materi perubahan masyarakat Indonesia pada masa penjajahan Kelas VIII MTsN 3 Tulungagung ?, (3) Untuk mengetahui hasil siswa terhadap model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick pada mata pelajaran IPS materi perubahan masyarakat Indonesia pada masa penjajahan Kelas VIII MTsN 3 Tulungagung ?. Dalam penelitian ini mengunakan penelitian kuantitaif dengan jenis penelitian Control Grup Pretest-Posttest Design. Desain ini melibatkan dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen diawali dengan pretest sebelum diberi pelakuan dan diakhiri dengan posttest. Kelas kontrol yang diawal dengan pretest dan posttest tanpa menggunakan merode konvesional. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, angket, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa (1) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model kooperatif tipe talking stick terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII MTs Negeri 3 Tulungagung. Berdasarkan dari uji hipotesis yang diperoleh 0,000 < 0,05 dikatakan bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. (2) Berdasarkan uji Effect Size adanya pengaruh sedang dalam pengunaan model kooperatif tieptalking stick terhadap hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran IPS materi perubahan masyarakat Indonesia pada mas penjajahan kelas VIII MTs Negeri 3 Tulungagung dengan nilai Cohen’s d sebesar 1,073 dengan presentase 84% yang tergolong sedang. (3) Berdasarkan respon hasil belajar siswa terhadap model kooperatif tipe talking stick mendaptakn presentase dalam kriteria hasil rata-rata siswa sebesar 70% yang berarti sangat baik atau sangat setuju dengan ada pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick dalam mengingkatkan hasil belajar kelas VIII MTs Negeri 3 Tulungagung.

Utilization of local potential in the form of convection textile industry centers as a source of learning with the aim that learning can also take advantage of environmental aspects. the local potential of Tritunggal Village, namely the center of the textile convection industry. can increase the potential of students as an effort to develop themselves The purpose of this study is to: (1) To describe the potential of Tritunggal Village which is used as a social studies learning resource on economic activity material at Mts Ma'arif 23 Infarul Ghoy Tritunggal Lamongan (2) To describe social studies learning process on economic activity material at Mts Ma'arif 23 Infarul Ghoy Tritunggal Lamongan (3) To describe the utilization of local potential in Tritunggal Village as a support for social studies resources at Mts Ma'arif 23 Infarul Ghoy Tritunggal Lamongan This research uses a type of research approach descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. In analyzing the data using data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions, and the validity of the results from the Tritunggal Village research, Tritunggal Village has local potential in the form of a textile convection industry center, which is in line with economic activities in the area. Utilization of local potential as a support for social studies learning at Mts Ma'arif 23 Infarul Ghoy Tritunggal Lamongan, increasing student involvement, enthusiasm for learning, insight, and social attitudes Social studies learning by utilizing local potential runs smoothly and effectively.

Abstract

This research is motivated by facts in the field showing that social studies teachers are still more oriented towards assignments and students' understanding of learning material without considering the formation of student character as a learning effect, so that learning material is less affected by students' attitudes and personalities in shaping interactions between teachers and students. This makes students tend to be busy or not pay attention when the teacher is explaining, during the learning process in the classroom. Therefore, these constraints certainly need a solution so that the teaching and learning process can be channeled properly, an IPS teacher really needs to use a learning strategy that is appropriate to the material to be conveyed and is also in accordance with the IPS teacher's strategy in instilling social values. The formulation of the problems in this study are: 1) What is the social studies teacher's strategy to instill social values in social studies learning for class VII students at SMPN 1 Purwoasri? 2) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors for social studies teachers in carrying out strategies for instilling social values in class VII students at SMPN 1 Purwoasri? 3) What are the results of the IPS teacher's strategy in instilling social values in class VII at SMPN 1 Purwoasri? The objectives of this study are: 1) To find out the social studies teacher's strategy to instill social values in social studies learning for class VII students at SMPN 1 Purwoasri. 2) To identify the supporting and inhibiting factors of social studies teachers in carrying out strategies for instilling social values in class VII students at SMPN 1 Purwoasri. 3) To find out the results of the social studies teacher's strategy in instilling social values in class VII at SMPN 1 Purwoasri. The research method used is a qualitative method and this research is descriptive in nature. This research is sourced from primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. Then the data analysis technique in this study refers to the Miles and Huberman model. Checking the validity of the data, namely observation persistence, triangulation, and peer checking. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The social studies teacher's strategy in instilling social values possessed by students is through several ways, namely exemplary and continuous reprimand and habituation patterns. To instill social values in students, the teacher instills an attitude of honesty, discipline, tolerance, mutual cooperation, courtesy, confidence and responsibility (an attitude of daring to accept consequences, being able to carry out individual tasks properly, not blaming others, and always keeping promises). to students. 2) Factors that support the social studies teacher's strategy in instilling social values in students are a comfortable learning environment, there are rules in the class that are obeyed, and there is a dominant role of the teacher. On the other hand, the inhibiting factors of the social studies teacher's strategy in instilling social values in students are the teacher being late, the lack of monitoring of regulations, and the influence of friends. 3) The results of the social studies teacher's strategy in instilling social values in class VII students at SMPN 1 Purwoasri include social awareness, multicultural understanding, and social involvement which are in good condition.

Abstract

Permasalahan kegiatan pembelajaran yakni menurunnya semangat siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS terdeteksi semenjak mereka masuk offline terutama kelas VII di MTsN 1 Trenggalek setelah adanya pembelajaran online daring (dalam jaringan) selama dua tahun, sebagai akibat dari adanya pandemi covid-19. Hal tersebut merupakan alasan adanya penelitian ini. Sebagai bentuk usaha untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, penelitian menggunakan model pembelajaran Probing – Prompting dirasa mampu meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran IPS. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif metode quasi experiment. Peneliti mengambil populasi siswa kelas VII dan mengambil sampel menggunakan teknik Non Probability Sampling dengan metode Purposif Sampling yakni penentuan sampel berdasarkan alasan dan pertimbangan tertentu. Melalui teknik tersebut sampel penelitian adalah kelas VII-H (kelas eksperimen) dan VII-I (kelas kontrol). Pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, instrumen (post-test, angket), dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan uji pra-syarat untuk mengolah data menggunakan uji T-Tes dan uji Manova. Dengan hasil hipotesis Ha keseluruhan dapat diterima.

Abstract

Globalisasi telah mengubah lanskap budaya dan gaya hidup di Indonesia. Artikel ini membahas dampak globalisasi terhadap gaya hidup masyarakat Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kajian pustaka, penulis menganalisis berbagai aspek perubahan gaya hidup, termasuk konsumsi barang asing, gaya hidup digital, urbanisasi, dan peningkatan kesadaran lingkungan. Faktor-faktor seperti aksesibilitas teknologi, pengaruh budaya asing, perubahan pola konsumsi, nilai dan norma sosial, industri dan pekerjaan, serta lingkungan dan kesehatan, semuanya berkontribusi pada transformasi gaya hidup masyarakat Indonesia. Dampak positif globalisasi antara lain perubahan tata nilai dan sikap, berkembangnya ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, dan peningkatan taraf hidup. Namun, ada juga dampak negatif seperti pola hidup konsumtif, sikap individualistik, gaya hidup kebarat-baratan, dan kesenjangan sosial. Penelitian ini menyoroti perlunya kesadaran akan dampak globalisasi serta upaya untuk meminimalkan dampak negatifnya.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that upholds the implementation of quality education to support the progress of the Indonesian State through its Human Resources. Education is not only obtained from school, but education can also be obtained in the environment where a person lives and socializes. However, education in Indonesia is also not free from various problems, one of which is the emergence of bullying that occurs in the school environment. There are many factors that result in bullying, and this behavior is deviant and not in accordance with applicable norms. The existence of bullying behavior causes the need for character cultivation through character education which must be instilled in children as early as possible. Character education is considered to have an important role and can be one solution to guide children so that they have the ability to differentiate between good and bad actions as well as actions that are pleasing and detrimental to other people. Character education must not only be carried out and implemented at school, but it must also be implemented and supervised directly by parents. By cultivating this character, it is hoped that the quality of education in Indonesia will increase.

Abstract

The research conducted aims to empirically measure the impact of the use of technology in the teaching and learning process. It involves monitoring, measuring, and analyzing the effectiveness of technology in improving student understanding, information retention, and learning outcomes.  evaluate education policies that support or hinder the integration of technology in teaching and learning.  In this modern era, technology has become an integral component in education, with significant implications on how learning and teaching are conducted.  The method used is a descriptive method with a Library Reaserch approach.  One of the paradigm changes in education is inclusive education.  The early history of special education in Indonesia is known for the implementation of 3 types of schools, namely Special Schools (SLB), Extraordinary Elementary Schools (SDLB), and Integrated Schools. The use of technology in the Social Sciences (IPS) learning process has the potential to enhance the learning experience, however, it also involves a number of challenges and obstacles that need to be overcome. Although technology can be a powerful tool in social studies learning, some concepts or learning methods may not be effectively realized through technology. This requires creative thinking and adaptation to stay fit for learning objectives.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the causes of junior high school students' lack of interest in social studies subjects. Students' lack of interest in social studies subjects is an obstacle to the success of social studies learning. This is because students who are not interested in social studies subjects will tend to underestimate social studies subjects. This research uses the library research method. This research went through steps which included searching for journals that were relevant to the title of our research, then identifying and classifying several sources, then we reviewed them descriptively and compiled the results of the systematic literature review into a journal. The results of this research show that the factors causing students' lack of interest in social studies subjects include the lack of relevance of learning material to everyday life, monotonous teaching methods, and students' perceptions of the difficulty of social studies subject matter. Apart from that, environmental factors and family support also play a role in influencing students' interest in learning social studies. Efforts to increase students' interest in social studies subjects involve improving the curriculum, developing innovative teaching methods, and increasing interaction between learning material and the context of students' daily lives. Apart from that, involving parents in supporting social studies learning can be an effective strategy in stimulating students' interest in learning social studies.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to investigate the factors that lead to difficulties in students' social studies learning at Mu'alimin Wonodadi Junior High School in Blitar. Learning difficulties are a common problem faced by students in learning social studies (Social Studies). The factors contributing to learning difficulties are complex and varied, covering individual factors, friendship factors and environmental factors both in the school and family environment. This research method uses qualitative research where researchers directly go to the field. Researchers utilize a range of tools for data collection, such as interviews, observation, and documentation. The results highlight several key factors that contribute to students experiencing difficulties in their learning. learning social studies, including external or external factors such as factors from the environment both outside and from within the family and internal or internal factors such as interest, talent and motivation.

Abstract

This research aims to explore and identify problems that arise in connection with learning methods in Social Sciences (IPS) subjects and to evaluate efforts to understand and overcome these problems in the educational context. Effective learning methods are considered one of the key factors in improving students' social studies learning outcomes. However, problems often arise that hinder the achievement of optimal learning outcomes. Efforts to overcome these problems include improving the selection of learning methods that are more appropriate to the educational context, increasing teacher training in designing and implementing effective learning, as well as continuous evaluation of methods. learning used. By better understanding the problems of learning methods in social studies education, it is hoped that solutions can be found that support improving student learning outcomes in this field.
