Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between peer social support and religiosity with psychological well-being in AAL level II cadets independently and simultaneously. The number of respondents was 100 AAL Cadets Level II students taken by saturated sampling technique. The results showed that there was a simultaneous relationship between peer social support and religiosity with psychological well-being. The findings also show that peer social support and religiosity show a positive relationship towards psychological well-being.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between hardiness and self-efficacy with problem focused coping on crew members of KRI 'X' Indonesian Navy with Single status in Surabaya. Respondent ABK KRI 'X' Indonesian Navy in Surabaya who has a single status. A total of 60 respondents were selected using a saturated sampling technique. The scale used in this study is the hardiness scale, self-efficacy scale, and problem focused coping scale. The analysis technique used is product moment correlation and multiple correlation. The results showed that there was a simultaneous relationship between hardiness and self-efficacy with problem focused coping. The findings also show that hardiness and self-efficacy show a positive direction towards problem focused coping. The results of this study can be used as a reference related to the problem of problem focused coping on crew members of the KRI Navy who are single.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of task aversiveness and fear of failure on academic procrastination in students of the Faculty of Psychology at Hang Tuah University. There were 202 participan in the study. The sampling technique used quota sampling. Analysis of hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression. This study uses a scale of task aversiveness, fear of failure and academic procrastination. The results showed that there was a significant effect of task aversiveness and fear of failure on academic procrastination with an R Square value of 0.148. Other results show that the correlation coefficient of task aversiveness on academic procrastination is 11.1% and fear of failure on academic procrastination is 13.6%.

Abstract

Self-regulated learning is an individual's ability to regulate himself in terms of learning independently by involving metacognition, motivation, and behavior so that learning goals are achieved. Self-regulated learning has factors that can influence it, including self-efficacy and goal orientation. This study aimed to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and goal orientation with self-regulated learning. This study used a quantitative approach with a correlational type. Respondents were students of the Faculty of Psychology, Hang Tuah University, Surabaya class of 2019. Respondents totaled 75 students, selected using a saturated sampling technique. This study uses a self-regulated learning scale, a self-efficacy scale, and a goal orientation scale. The results of the study show that self-efficacy and goal orientation together have a significant positive relationship with self-regulated learning with an effective variable contribution of 58.4%.
