Abstract

One of the body's defense systems, namely fatigue, allows the body to recover after rest and avoid additional injury. Fatigue due to continuous work will cause the health of employees to decline, causing work accidents. There are many different elements that can lead to workplace burnout, including the work environment, internal factors, external factors, workplace factors, and individual issues. productivity is influenced by three factors, namely workload, work capacity, and additional burden due to the work environment. Workload is usually related to physical, mental and social loads that affect the workforce. The purpose of this research is to examine how employee productivity is affected by the level of work fatigue. Using the terms burnout and work productivity, a Google Scholar search is conducted for related material. According to the 8 articles collected, work fatigue is closely related to work productivity, so management measures and related regulations are needed to reduce the burden on employees, provide assistance to those in need, and inspire and motivate workers to increase employee productivity.

Abstract

Farmers who use pesticides incorrectly can experience health problems because direct contact with pesticides can cause acute and chronic poisoning. Many farmers have not fully complied with the use of PPE, which has resulted in serious incidents to their health status. This research study is a literature review, by extracting all research that includes the use of personal protective equipment on the health status of pesticide spraying farmers. The results of the analysis show that farmers must learn about pesticides, because by learning farmers will know and have knowledge about pesticides to be able to carry out pesticide management in the recommended way, so that the risk of poisoning can be avoided and overcome. Working with pesticides for a long time can lead to higher risk factors for the accumulation of toxins in the body and will eventually lead to chronic poisoning. With the age of the 50-year-old pesticide spraying farmer, the risk of pesticide poisoning has the potential to occur. Farmers who do not use PPE will experience a decrease in health status in work productivity. Farmers who have knowledge about the dangers and risks of pesticides that will arise if they do not use PPE completely and correctly can prevent poisoning and chronic disease due to exposure due to longer work and exposure to pesticides.

Abstract

Every employee must have faced work-related stress. Although there are times when work stress is beneficial, if it is excessive it will have a negative impact which is especially detrimental to employee performance. So it is necessary to control and prevent stress in the workplace. The purpose of this research is to examine how the performance of employees of PT. X is affected by stress at work. For this study, a sample of 13 workers who sprayed pesticides were interrogated. The data for this study came from a questionnaire. Quantitative descriptive analytic approach is used in this research. Simple linear regression analysis yields Y = 2.435 + 0.770X and partially t count for the work stress variable (X) of 11.133 and t count value 11.133 > t table value 2.201 and also a significant value less than 0.05 (0.000 <0 , 05). This proves that there is a strong relationship between stress at work and worker performance. So companies should offer advice for managing work stress and other outside activities that can energize the body and mind.
