Abstract

Tiger grouper is a type of fish whose habitat is in waters, especially rocky waters with a water depth of about 0.5-3 cm (young) and 7-40 cm (adults) from the surface. Tiger grouper is caught with bottom line and net. The purpose of this study was to determine growth parameters regarding growth patterns and condition factors, and to determine reproductive biology parameters regarding gonads, eggs and ficundity of tiger grouper. This study used a dependent descriptive survey method which was carried out in Labangka waters, Sumbawa Regency. Data analysis used simple regression analysis. The results of data processing showed a positive LWR (length weight relationship) pattern (ln W = -a + b ln L) and a hyper-allometric growth pattern (b>3) with a value of b = 3.6. While the value of the condition factor is K average = 1.41 where the K value obtained indicates that the body of the grouper fish in Labangka is less flat and fleshy and is still in its infancy. The results of fecundity data processing produced 675,073.34 eggs/gonads with a gonad weight of 30 g, a gonad length of 8.8 cm and a parent fish weight of 489 g and a length of 29.8 cm

Abstract

Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) is one of the most widely cultivated freshwater fish species in Indonesia. This study aims to determine the biological conditions of tilapia, the level of gonad maturity (TKG) and tilapia fecundity, and the water conditions of the Batujai and Pengga Dam. Examples of fish caught in October-November 2018 in the Batujai and Pengga Dam were 17 and 16 individuals / dams. Identification for collecting morphometric data (11 characters) and gonads was carried out at the 45 Laboratory of the University of Mataram. Morphomteric measurements were quantitatively processed to describe the morphology of tilapia. Relationship pattern of tilapia morphometric characters in Batujai Dam: C = -a + b P, LWR pattern: ln B = -a + b ln P, and the pattern of growth is hyper allometric (b = 3.95). While the pattern of relation of tilapia morphometric characters in the Pengga Dam: C = -a + b P, LWR pattern: ln B = -a + b ln P, and the pattern of growth is hypo allometric (b = 2.75). The condition factor (K) of tilapia from the two dams yields an average value of K> 1 which is (1,627 and 1,926) which means that the fish body shape is fleshy and its physical condition is ready to reproduce

Abstract

The potential of fisheries resources in the Indonesian sea consists of four fishery resources, namely: large pelagic (451,830 tons per year) and small pelagic (2,423,000 tons per year), demersal fisheries resources (3,163,630 tons per year), shrimp (100,720 tons per year) per tofu) and reef fish (80,082 tons per year). This study aims to determine the catch using demersal trolling in the Sape Strait and to determine the biological status of fish caught by using a troll demersa fishing rod To determine the biological status of fish caught using demersal trolling rods. This research will be carried out in the waters of the Sape Strait of West Nusa Tenggara. Data collection methods used in this study are descriptive, quantitative and qualitative methods. These methods describe in detail all the activities carried out during the research activities, so that they are able to answer the problems or goals that have been set. The results of this study were processed using Fisheries Biology Analysis such as length and weight relationship pattern analysis, growth pattern analysis of the condition of the feasibility of the fishing gear analysis of fishing gear productivity effectiveness of fishing gear environmental friendliness analysis of the gear sensitivity of the fishing gear business feasibility analysis
