Abstract

Analisis Wacana Kritis selalu menarik untuk dikaji lebih dalam. Kuasa media dan persepsi publik yang membuat penelitian wacana kritis terus tumbuh. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana analisis wacana kritis model Van Djik dalam program Mata Najwa episode “Semua karena Ahok”? Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan analisis wacana kritis model AWK Van Djik dikonstruksi Najwa Sihab selaku pembawa acara dalam program Mata Najwa “Semua karena Ahok”. Metode yang digunakan yaitu AWK model Van Djik. Teknik analisis datanya menggunakan teknik dokumentasi dan observasi. Teori yang digunakan yaitu analisis wacana kritis model Van Djik, teori media. Hasil dan pembahasan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Struktur makro yang terdapat dalam wacana yaitu kebijakan Ahok, 1,5 tahun kepemimpinan Ahok, reklamasi Pulau G, penggusuran warga bantaran kali dan waduk, pembangunan rusunawa, melangkah menuju pilkada 2017 lewat jalur independen, kepemimpinan Ahok, (2) Superstruktur, bagian pendahuluan dibuka dengan narasi yang memukau, kemudian pembahasan ditonjolkan lewat fakta-fakta yang tersaji, baik melalui video, maupun wawancara secara langsung kepada warga DKI Jakarta yang ikut menilai 1,5 tahun kepemimpinan Ahok, yang paling ditonjolkan yaitu bagian penutup yang berisikan kritik-kritik untuk gaya kepemimpinan Ahok di masa depan untuk Jakarta yang lebih baik, (3) Dari struktur mikro, analisis semantik, pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang diajukan Najwa kesemuanya berisi analisis segala hal yang telah dilakukan dan yang akan dilakukan Ahok untuk tetap menjadi pemimpin DKI Jakarta. Dari segi sintaksis, kalimat tanyalah yang mendominasi pernyataan Najwa untuk menggali informasi. Stilistik yang digunakan yaitu gaya bahasa tegas, lugas, apa adanya, dan transparan sesuai dengan semboyan yang diusung Metro Tv. Dari segi retoris, penekanan-penekanan yang dilakukan Najwa yaitu dengan beberapa pilihan kata dan ungkapan yang semakin mendukung pertanyaan.

Abstract

Indonesia is experiencing social unrest because of the emergence of the behavior of racism and intolerance. Mass media social also become the most fertile ground the outbreak of the issue of the behavior of intolerance. Clear impact affect the condition of Indonesia today. All involved in the world of education is necessarily aware that the behavior of intolerance cannot happen. education must respect differences and spread the value of good character through education tolerance in the middle of the condition of multiculturalism become characteristic of Indonesia. The importance of good tolerance education in schools or in universities must be paid attention to education is lost gradually declines but. The world of education must be free of purely from the practice of intolerance. Education is the place grow any differences and foster mutual respect among the differences. Teachers or educators as the spearhead education has a special role in inculcating tolerance in the world of education will become an example to all it broadcasts.

Abstract

Leadership in Hinduism is closely related to ethics. The nature and attitude of a leader is a determinant of the success or failure of a leader in running the wheels of government. Local wisdom is owned by the Balinese Hindu community is very positive to stem the behavior of corruption both in leadership on campus and when plunging in the community. Corruption behavior should not be interpreted as culture and society antipati against it. His young son as the next generation of the nation must be saved from corruption pratik increasingly rampant. The most basic and contextual, which is very close to the life of the community that is tangent to the culture, local wisdom of a society. This local wisdom plays an important role to realize the prevention of corruption is more leverage. Local wisdom asta bratha, 8 good leadership traits according to Hindu concept can be an alternative to moral education in elementary, middle, upper, and college. The nature of this leadership will be a strong moral foundation in education to lead students to a better life without corruption and the goals of the nation and the state can be maximized.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan, 1) bentuk verbal bullying yang mengemuka di media sosial, 2) penyimpangan prinsip kesantunan berbahasa pada kasus verbal bullying yang mengemuka di media sosial, dan 3) dampak verbal bullying yang mengemuka di media sosial. Dalam mencapai tujuan ini, peneliti menggunakan rancangan penelitian deskriptif-kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode dokumentasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian ini memaparkan bahwa  (1) bentuk perilaku verbal bullying yang mengemuka di media sosial dinyatakan dalam bentuk menyindir, menghina, dan mengancam, (2) bentuk penyimpangan verbal bullying ditinjau dari prinsip kesantunan berbahasa menyalahi maksim kebijaksanaan, kesimpatian, pemufakatan (kecocokan), dan penghargaan, (3) Dampak verbal bullying yang mengemuka di media sosial dibedakan menjadi 2 yaitu dampak positif, seperti bisa menjadi motivator positif, keinginan kuat untuk berbenah, berani menghadapi tantangan hidup, namun, dampak negatifnya jauh lebih berat, seperti, kehilangan kepercayan diri, disfungsi sosial, penyalahgunaan masa depan, percobaan bunuh diri, dan menjadi pelaku verbal bullying.

Abstract

Schools, teachers, colleges, and education in general, are integral parts of each other. Education should not turn a blind eye to the intolerant view that now adorns social media, screen, even print media. Educational institutions should be able to reaffirm the values ??of tolerance to keep education quality and not hindered issues of racism. The face of learning in education, especially in college must maintain the diversity that becomes the foundation of pluralism full of life. Education tolerance should be re-strived stronger, more attached. Teachers must be responsive and not to be eclectic and neither do they tackle the issue of this epidemic. The nature of racism is not a human nature. For that the spread is very likely destroyed. The practice of intolerance in the education line has been addressed wisely. One of them is by reviving the spirit of tolerance education in harmony with the education of multiculturalism. If these intolerant and racism behaviors deepen into the world of education, the graduates produced will not be able to form a characterized person as mandated in the Pancasila and the Constitution. So what should be hastened to counter intolerance at schools, universities and educational institutions so that the quality of education and resources will not be disturbed and remain qualified? Education can?t be separated from social turmoil in society. This will have a direct impact, especially on the character of the students. For this reason, the planting of tolerance values ??in important college learning is revived to prevent intolerant practices in education, especially in universities.

Abstract

The presence of parody or comedy in Bali using Balinese language can be an effective medium to instill the values of character to teenagers, especially millennial generation. The emergence of Balinese rhymes with the name ?Hai Puja? in social media is importantly appreciated as one of the media to instill the values of the characters because in parody, Hai Puja insert various moral messages in accordance with the times and easily accepted by the present generation. This study aims to describe the character values contained in every episode of Balinese poetry ?Hi Puja?. The theory used in this research is character education theory. This research uses descriptive qualitative design with assisted documentation method and questionnaire. The results of this study conclude that there is a character value contained in every joke uploaded on youtube by Hai Puja. Character values that arise include independent characters, hard work, discipline, respect, and tolerance. All of these character values are very effectively implanted and developed, especially for millenial generations that spend more time in cyberspace.

Abstract

The government has designed the concept of independent learning to improve the quality of education in the current era. The concept of independent learning is actually not a new concept. The concept of free learning that provides awareness of students and educators to be able to construct their own knowledge and give meaning based on independent learning experiences is closely related to the theory of constructivist learning. In terms of improving the quality of education in Indonesia, many media can be used as a forum or inspiration. One of them, namely literature. The novel Guru Aini by Andrea Hirata is a literary work that deserves to be an inspiration especially to explore the narratives delivered. The formulation of the problem of this research is how is the inspiration for independent learning in this Guru Aini Novel as improving the quality of Indonesian education? The purpose of this study is to describe the values of independent learning in this Guru Aini Novel as improving the quality of Indonesian education. The method used is the analysis of literary sociology and its relation to the theory of constructivist learning. The results of this study indicate that the narratives in the novel "Guru Aini" by Andrea Hirata provide insights related to meaning in the learning process. Knowledge that has to be constructed by itself, is sought by itself with the support and motivation of the teacher as a facilitator as well as a mediator and can help students in solving each problem and bring independence, not depressed, and appreciate every learning process from the inspiration of Aini, Desi, and other figures.
