Abstract

The development of e-government is being carried out continuously. However, the goal of equitable utilization of e-government development has not been as expected, especially for people who live in the suburbs. For this reason, it is necessary to conduct research on the development of the concept of e-government for people who live in the suburbs. This concept is seen from Information and Communication Technology (ICT) aspect in the suburban community. There are six variables in this study. Those are an internet connection, transaction center, telecenter, government services, ICT training and education facilities, and information media. This research used qualitative methods. It was conducted to obtain all the facts related to the development of an ICT-based e-government model for suburban communities in Palembang

Abstract

The South Sumatra Light Railway Management Center currently does not fully use information technology, for example the current goods inventory system still records data using Excel. This research aims to create a goods inventory system application using qrcodes on Android devices at the South Sumatra Light Railway Management Center. This research also aims to digitize everything at the South Sumatra Light Railway Management Center. This application design uses the CodeIgniter framework for the realization of computer applications and Java language in Android applications and applies the Waterfall development method. The database used is a MySql database which is stored on an online server so that it can be accessed by the mobile inventory system application on Android. The data exchange process between Android and the database uses API to facilitate data distribution. The results obtained from this research are a goods inventory application using an Android-based QR Code at the South Sumatra light railway management center which can carry out QR scans on goods, can see goods information from the QR scan results, can provide input if there is incorrect goods information.Keywords: Inventory; QR Code; Android; Waterfall; CodeIgniter AbstrakBalai Pengelola Kereta Api Ringan Sumatera Selatan saat ini belum sepenuhnya menggunakan teknologi informasi contohnya sistem inventaris barang yang sedang berjalan masih mencatat data menggunakan excel. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat aplikasi sistem inventaris barang dengan menggunakan qrcode pada perangkat Android pada Balai Pengelola Kereta Api Ringan Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan agar mendigitalisasikan segala hal di Balai Pengelola Kereta Api Ringan Sumatera Selatan. Perancangan aplikasi ini menggunakan framework CodeIgniter untuk realisasi aplikasi komputer dan bahasa Java pada aplikasi Android dan menerapkan metode pengembangan Waterfall. Basis data yang digunakan adalah basis data MySql yang disimpan di server online agar dapat diakses oleh aplikasi sistem inventaris seluler di Android. Proses pertukaran data antara android dengan database menggunakan API untuk memudahkan pendistribusian data. Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah aplikasi inventaris barang menggunakan QR Code berbasis android pada balai pnegelola kereta api ringan sumatera selatan yang dapat melakukan scan qr pada barang, dapat melihat informasi barang dari hasil scan qr, dapat memberikan masukan apabila ada informasi barang yang salah.
