Abstract

Sumberdaya perikanan di wilayah hutanmangrove sangat kaya sehingga sering dieksploitasi secara berlebihan, misalkan dijadikan lahan tambak. Budidaya kepitting sokka merupakan satu peluang usaha yang sangat menjanjikan,kesempatan tersebut perlu kita manfaatkan sebaik-baiknya untuk mendapatkan keuntungan. Akan tetapi budidaya kepiting sokka tidak bisa dilakukan asal-alasan. Sehingga dalam budidaya kita perlu memperhatikan keadaan kualitas air juga dapat mempengaruhi kelayakan hidup pda kepiting. Dari permasalahan tersebut tentunya ada usaha untuk melestarikan budidaya kepiting agar terus ada dan tidak punah. Tujuan dari keadaan tersebut adalah untuk mengetahui keadaan kualitas air untuk budidaya kepiting sokka di perairan sekitar Muara Sungai Pagatan. Metode jenis penelitian ini adalah metode purposive sampling. Analisis data yag digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah mengunakan (EQI) Environttmen Qualitty Index. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilaksanaklan dapat bahwa:Budidaya kepiting sokka belum banyak menguntungkan.Mutu air dari 4 stasiun:Stasiun 1: Sangat Buruk dengan nilai 0,04 Stasiun 2: Sangat Buruk dengan nilai 0,02 Stasiun 3: Sangat Buruk dengan nilai 0,02 Stasiun 4: Sangat Buruk dengan nilai 0,01 Marine biologicalresources have an important meaning for the community both now and in the future, fishery resources in mangrove forest areas are so rich that they are often overexploited, for example being used as ponds. Sokka crab cultivation is a very promising business opportunity, we need this opportunity to make the best use of it to get profit. However, soft-shell crab cultivation cannot be done randomly. So that in cultivation we need to pay attention to the conditions of water quality which can also affect the viability of life for crabs. From these problems, of course there are efforts to preserve crab cultivation so that it continues to exist and does not become extinct. The purpose of this condition is to determine the condition of the water quality for sokka crab cultivation in the waters around the Pagatan River Estuary. The method used in this research is purposivesampling method. purposive sampling is selecting certain places that are considered important and representing and describing the state of the waters in a whole.Date analysis used in thisstudy is to use (EQI) Environmetntal Qualitty Index. Fromtheresults of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that: Sokka crab cultivation has not been very profitable. Water quality from 4 stations: Station 1: Very bad with a value of 0,04 Station 2: Very bad with a value of 0,02 Station 3: Very bad with a value of 0,02 Station 4: Very Bad with a value of 0,01.
