Abstract

This research aims to increase students’ learning activity in Media and Learning Resources class. The kind of research is classroom action research conducted two cycles with the subject is the fifth semester students of English departement. Technique of collecting data is observation and analyzing quantitatively and qualitatively.  From cycle I and cycle II, students’ learning activity is increasing . Research hypothes stated that the use of Number Heads Together technique can increase the students’ learning activity can be proven. It is concluded that the use of Number Heads Together (NHT) can increase students’ learning activity in Media and Learning Resources class. The students’ learning activity increases 37,5% , from 25% to 62,5%.  Number Heads Together should be developed and applied in every education level because this technique makes students are more aware that they are observed so it stimulates them to be active.

Abstract

Respon kecemasan merupakan perasaan yang paling umum yang dialami oleh orang tua ketika ada masalah kesehatan pada anaknya. Orang tua juga akan merasa begitu cemas dan  takut terhadap kondisi anaknya dan jenis prosedur medis yang dilakukan. Salah satu tindakan keperawatan yang menimbulkan trauma bagi anak dan orang tua yaitu tindakan nebulizer. Peneliti melakukan studi pada 10 orang sampel yang hasilnya menunjukkan 7 dari 10 ibu menunjukkan kecemasan pada tindakan nebulizer anaknya seperti, gelisah, ekspresi wajah sedih, murung, sering  bertanya pada petugas kesehatan, bahkan menangis, banyak berzikir dan memberikan peringatan pada petugas kesehatan agar jangan sampai menyakiti anaknya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kecemasan Ibu pada tindakan nebulizer anaknya berdasarkan karakteristik ibu di ruang anak RSUD Ratu Zalecha Martapura. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif, dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif.  Sampel penelitian ini adalah ibu yang menemani anaknya pada tindakan nebulizer yang berjumlah 36 orang menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ibu yang tergolong usia tua cenderung mengalami kecemasan ringan sebanyak 8 responden 72,7%, tingkat pendidikan ibu dengan kategori pendidikan tinggi cenderung mengalami kecemasan sedang sebanyak 3 responden 60%, dan ibu yang pernah ada riwayat nebulizer dengan kategori sering mengalami kecemasan ringan sebanyak 8 responden 100%. Kepada tenaga keperawatan di ruang anak diharapkan dapat memberikan pelayanan keperawatan yang maksimal khususnya meminimalkan kecemasan yang dirasakan ibu dengan menjelaskan prosedur dan kegunaan tindakan nebulizer agar kecemasan ibu dapat diminimalkan.
