Abstract

Pregnancy is a natural process that causes a series of physiological changes in pregnant women. The physiological changes experienced during pregnancy sometimes become a period of vulnerability that requires special attention and vigilance. So that pregnant women need more knowledge about the many changes that can occur to their bodies. The purpose of implementing this community service activity is to provide additional knowledge about physiological changes both physically and organ systems in the body of pregnant women during pregnancy. The approach taken by the team was in the form of health education activities regarding physiological changes in pregnant women which were carried out offline through direct visits to Posyandu. As a result of community service activities, pregnant women feel very helpful because the discomfort that occurs during pregnancy is normal so that mothers do not need to feel anxious and worried.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the incidence of failure of normal delivery in teenage mothers at the Masyita Women's and Children's Hospital in Makassar City. The method used is quantitative research with a cross-sectional approach. The results of this study showed that there were 46 cases of uterine inertia (25.0%), 70 cases of premature rupture of membranes (38.0%), 24 cases of severe preeclampsia (13.0%), 24 cases of preeclampsia placenta previa as many as 8 people (4.3%). the incidence of prolonged labor was 36 people (19.6%). The conclusion of this study is that there are several findings of failure of normal delivery in teenage mothers including inertia, premature rupture of membranes, severe preeclampsia, placenta previsa and prolonged parturition. Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between parental feeding style and picky eating behavior on the incidence of stunting in preschool children. The research method uses a cross sectional design. The results of the research show that there is a relationship between parental feeding style and the incidence of stunting (p = 0.028) and there is a relationship between picky eating behavior and the incidence of stunting (p = 0.017) in Panaikang Village, Pattallassang District, Gowa Regency. In conclusion, there is a relationship between parental feeding style and picky eating behavior on the incidence of stunting in preschool-aged children in Panaikang Village, Pattallassang District, Gowa Regency. Abstract

Children under five years of age or often abbreviated as toddlers are children who have reached the age of over one year or calculated by the age of 12-59 months. Experts have classified toddlers as a stage of child development that is very vulnerable to disease attacks or lack or excess nutritional intake. One optimal way to support children's growth and development is by monitoring growth and development at the posyandu. The readiness of posyandu cadres is one of the posyandu services in providing basic services. Activities to monitor children's nutritional status are supported by the community who come to the posyandu through cadre participation. The aim of this community service is to provide training to cadres about Panaikan Village. The target of this community service is posyandu cadres. Community service is carried out for 2 days. The methods used are pretest, education, training and posttest. The Pre Test was carried out to determine the cadres' initial knowledge about early detection of growth and development in toddlers. Then education and training was carried out regarding early detection of growth and development in toddlers. After that, a Post Test was carried out. The post test was carried out to determine the results of cadre training regarding early detection of growth and development in toddlers.

Abstract

Masa remaja merupakan masa peralihan dari anak-anak menuju dewasa, pada masa ini banyak terjadi perkembangan fisik maupun psikologi. Salah satu perkembangan fisik yang terjadi pada anak menuju remaja adalah menarche. Menarche merupakan kondisi dimana seorang anak perempuan mengalami menstruasi pertama atau pengeluaran darah menstruasi pertama melaui jalan lahir sebagai tanda kesuburan. Kejadian menarche menjadi tanda adanya kematangan seksual pada anak perempuan. Saat ini anak-anak cenderung lebih cepat mengalami menarche dengan kisaran usia 10-12 tahun. Kondisi ini jika tidak sejalan dengan peningkatan pengetahuan pada anak tentang menarche tentunya akan menyebabkan perasaan cemas, malu, dan belum siap dengan perubahan yang ada. Tujuan dilakukannya pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan pada anak melalui kegiatan penyuluhan tentang kesiapan dalam menghadapi menarche dini di SD MIN 1 Banta-Bantaeng Kota Makassar. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan pada anak tentang kesiapan dalam menghadapi menarche. Kesimpulan ada pengaruh penyuluhan tentang kesiapan dalam menghadapi menarche terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan pada anak.
