<![CDATA[Tujuan penelitian menganilisis penyalahgunaan pemakaian senjata api oleh aparat Kepolisian Daerah (Polda) di Kota Makassar dan faktorfaktor yang mempengaruhinya. Tipe penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian empiris sosiologis (lapangan). Hasil penelitian bahwa Bahwa frekuensi penyalahgunaan pemakaian senjata api oleh aparat Kepolisian Daerah (Polda) Sulawesi Selatan di Kota Makassar, cukup tinggi dan Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penyalahgunaan pemakaian senjata api oleh aparat kepolisian Polda Sulawesi Selatan di Kota Makassar adalah Faktor Struktur Hukum, Pengetahuan Hukum Dan Budaya Hukum. Instansi kepolisian hendaknya melakukan pengawasan khusus yang responsif terhadap setiap aparat kepolisian yang diberi wewenang memegang senjata api. Rekruitmen dan penempatan setiap anggota kepolisian harus dilakukan secara profesional dan proporsional. The research objective is to analyze the misuse of firearms by the Regional Police (Polda) in Makassar City and the factors that influence it. The type of research used is the sociological empirical research method (field). The results of the study show that the frequency of misuse of firearms by South Sulawesi Regional Police (Polda) officers in Makassar City is quite high and the factors that influence the abuse of weapons by South Sulawesi Regional Police officers in Makassar City are Legal Structure Factors, Legal Knowledge And Legal Culture. Police agencies should carry out special supervision that is responsive to every police officer authorized to handle firearms.
