Abstract

Tuberculosis is an infectious disease mostly caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. There are various species of Mycobacterium, including Mycobacterium africanum, Mycobacterium bovis and Mycobacterium leprae, known as Acid Resistant Bacteria (BTA).
