This study aims to improve science process skills and cognitive learning outcomes for students of class X-IPA SMAS Global Madani Semester II for the 2020/2021 academic year. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, action implementation, evaluation and reflection stages. The approach used is a quantitative and qualitative approach. The research subjects were students of class X-IPA SMAS Global Madani with a total of 23 people. research instruments in the form of observation sheets, the implementation of the scientific process and the implementation of lesson plans, student activity sheets and test results by learning the type of multiple choice questions with a total of 20 questions. The results of the study stated that the implementation of learning science process data in cycle I (75%) was classified as good, increased to very good and increased in cycle II (85%). improving cognitive learning outcomes of students in cycle I (73.95%) cycle II (86.69%), it is concluded that through the application of guided discovery methods can improve cognitive learning outcomes of SMAS Global Madani students.
