Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan mekanisme pertahanan tokoh Utama dalam Sapakui Kisdap Bacina Buta karya Hatmiati Masy’ud. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah mekanisme pertahanan, yaitu: (1) represi berkata tanpa sadar, (2) sublimasi menutupi kesalahan, (3) proyeksi meliputi hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan, (4) pengalihan meliputi mengamuk dan membalaskan dendam kepada orang lain, (5) rasionalisasi yaitu memotivasi dengan hal yang baik, (6) reaksi formasi meliputi kepedulian yang berlebihan dan penebusan rasa bersalah, (7) agresi langsung meliputi rasa marah dan menonjok serta apatis berupa perasaan pasrah, dan (8) fantasi yaitu membayangkan mempunyai anak, serta stereotype meliputi menangis dan berbicara sendiri. This study aims to describe the defense mechanism of the main character in Sapakui Kisdap Bacina Buta by Hatmiati Masy'ud. The method used is qualitative descriptive. The results of this study are defense mechanisms, namely: (1) repression says unconsciously, (2) sublimation covers mistakes, (3) projection includes unwanted things, (4) diversion includes tantrums and revenge on others, (5) rationalization is motivating with good things, (6) formation reactions include excessive concern and guilt redemption, (7) direct aggression includes anger and punching and apathy in the form of feelings of resignation, and (8) fantasies of imagining having children, and stereotypes including crying and talking to themselves.
