Abstract

The problem found in this research is the low ability of children to speak Indonesian. This study aims to determine the increase in the ability to speak Indonesian in group A semester II at the Tigawasa-Buleleng State Kindergarten in the 2021/2022 Academic Year after applying flash card media. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles. The research subjects were 12 children in group A semester II at the Tigawasa-Buleleng Village Public Kindergarten for the 2021/2022 Academic Year. Data on the ability to speak Indonesian in group A children was followed by using the observation method with an instrument in the form of an observation sheet. Research data were analyzed using descriptive and qualitative statistical analysis methods. These results indicate that there was an increase in the child's ability to speak Indonesian in cycle 1 of: 55% in the low criteria and in cycle II it increased to 82.55% in the high criteria.

Abstract

The issues contained in the study on cognitive development in low numbers recognition capabilities.The purpose of this research was to study the improvement within cognitive development in the introduction of numbers after the application of the playing method using the number tower media to the B3 group children during the second semester or the academic year 2020/2021in TK-SD Satu Atap Negeri 1 Kenderan. This type of study is a classroom action-based research which was carried out in two cycles with 13 children as the subjects during the second semester or the academic 2020/2021. The data on the cognitive development in the introduction of numbers were collected by observation method with observation forms as the instrument. The data in this study were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis method and quantitative descriptive analysis method. The result of the data analysis shows that there was 70,75% improvement for the cognitive development in the introduction of numbers with the application of the playing method in the first cycle, which can be categorized as average.

Abstract

This study is underpinned by the salient issues apparent in the realm of children's cognitive development. The primary objective of this investigation is to ascertain the extent to which the cognitive advancement of children, specifically in problem-solving through Maze activities, can be augmented subsequent to the application of task assignment methodologies. The method used is data collection, using the assignment method while the data analysis method is descriptive analysis. The problem raised in this research is whether the application of the method of giving assignments through doing a maze (finding traces) can solve simple problems in the cognitive field in children. In this study, it produced data taken based on a survey of students at the State Kindergarten in Tukadmungga Village. With these data, it can be seen that the effectiveness of tracking activities to improve cognitive abilities in children aged 5 to 6 years is very effective.

Abstract

This report was made based on the background of problems that occurred in the B1 group of St. Joseph Kindergarten, namely the low language ability of children in recognizing and arranging letters into a word. To overcome this problem, researchers designed a learning process through letter card playing activities with the aim of improving the language skills of group B1 children in St. Joseph Kindergarten which amounted to 15 children consisting of 5 boys and 10 girls. The design of this research activity refers to the flow of Classroom Action Research which is divided into 2 cycles and 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data in this action research is also collected by observation, assignment and documentation. Based on the results of the data analysis collected, it is proven that through playing letter cards can improve the language skills of group B1 children in St. Joseph's Kindergarten. With the results of development achievements as follows: in cycle I children who are in the stage of Very Good Development (BSB) as much as 13% and increase in cycle II to 60%.
