Abstract

Solar photovoltaic energy is a renewable energy source that converts sunlight into electricity through the use of solar photovoltaic cells. The potential of solar energy is enormous, because the sun is an energy source that is abundantly available throughout the world. The method in this article is a qualitative method with literature study or Library Research. The purpose of this article is to analyze existing theories by looking at their comparison to previous theories in the research literature. The literature used is literature from research results or reviews that are recorded in national and international scientific articles that are relevant to the topic of this article. All articles used are sourced from the electronic literacy data search engine Mendeley and Google scholar. Based on the results of the literature review article on the results and discussion, it can be concluded that solar photovoltaic energy has high potential to be used as an alternative energy source in the long term in the future.

Abstract

Pada era globalisasi yang semakin maju seperti sekarang ini, perkembangan teknologi khususnya teknologi informasi telah membawa dampak yang signifikan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk dalam dunia usaha. Tujuan Pengamdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah untuk melakukan sosialisasi pemanfaatn teknologi tepat guna bagi usaha industri rumah tangga. Metode yang digunakan dalam artikel ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan studi literature atau Library Research. Tujuannya adalah untuk menganalisis perbandingan teori-teori yang ada dengan teori-teori sebelumnya pada literature hasil penelitian. Literature yang digunakan adalah literature dari hasil Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat atau review yang tersaji dalam artikel ilmiah berupatasi nasional dan internasional yang bersesuaian dengan topik yang akan dikaji. Berdasarkan literature review artikel pada hasil dan pembahasan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan teknologi tepat guna memiliki peran penting di berbagai sektor industri khususnya pada usaha industri skala rumah tangga.

Abstract

The application of Virtual Reality (VR) technology in worker safety training in heavy industries has been an intriguing subject of research in recent years. This journal article aims to provide a literature review on how VR is utilized in this context. The literature review method is employed to gather, evaluate, and synthesize findings from various related studies. This literature review reveals that the use of VR has proven effective in enhancing worker safety and operational skills in various heavy industries. By enabling training in a simulated virtual environment, VR technology can deliver realistic experiences without actual physical risks. Previous studies indicate that workers who receive VR training tend to have a better understanding of potential risks and safety procedures, leading to a decrease in accident rates. The advantages of VR also include its ability to provide repeatable training without significant additional costs. This allows workers to gain consistent hands-on experience, reinforcing their skills in hazardous situations. Thus, the use of VR in worker safety training in heavy industries promises significant benefits in efforts to improve worker safety and well-being.
