Abstract

Perkembangan industri di dunia mengalami kemajuan yang pesat, tentunya perkembangan tersebut merupakan suatu hal yang baik. Namun terdapat juga dampak negatif yang ditimbulkan oleh majunya perkembangan industri ini, salah satunya adalah beralihnya lahan pertanian. Hal ini akan menjadi permasalahan mengingat di sisi lain jumlah penduduk semakin meningkat dari waktu ke waktu sehingga harus dibarengi dengan peningkatan produksi pertanian. Salah satu jalan keluar yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan produksi pertanian adalah dengan hidroponik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui interaksi pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman caisim dan kangkung hidroponik menggunakan sistem NFT dan media tanam terbaik antara rockwool, flannel roll, sponge, dan dacron. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Greenhouse DnR Hydroponic Farm. Perumahan Pondok Bedadung Indah Blok. AA-01, Kecamatan Kaliwates, Kabupaten Jember, Jawa Timur dengan ketinggian 70 meter di atas permukaan laut, dimulai pada bulan November 2022 sampai dengan Januari 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) faktorial 2 x 4 dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah tanaman (T) yaitu Caisim (T1) dan Kangkung (T2). Faktor kedua adalah media tanam (M) dengan empat taraf yaitu Rockwool (M1), Flanel (M2), Spons (M3), dan Dakron (M4). Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan uji F menggunakan bantuan software SPSS 26 for windows pada level 0,05 dan Excell Microsoft Office. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan media tanam rockwool memberikan hasil terbaik pada parameter pengamatan lebar daun, bobot segar, bobot akar, kemudian tanaman caisim menghasilkan pertumbuhan dan produksi yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan tanaman kangkung pada parameter pengamatan panjang daun, lebar daun, panjang akar, bobot segar, bobot akar, dan tanaman caisim dengan media tanam rockwool menghasilkan pertumbuhan dan produksi tertinggi pada parameter pengamatan lebar daun, bobot segar, bobot akar. Media tanam flannel dan dakron dapat menjadi pengganti media tanam rockwool. Kata kunci: Hidroponik NFT, media tanam, caisim, kangkung

Abstract

Alternative ways to meet the needs of vegetables as their daily nutritional intake for the body, one of the leaf vegetables like lettuce are rich in vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients. Public awareness of the importance of eating vegetables is increasing lately, ironically, the availability of agricultural land decreases due to the conversion of agricultural land. One effort that can be done is by vegetable hydroponic farming. The research objective was to determine the best response of varieties of lettuce on levels of nutrient concentrations (AB mix). The research was conducted in the village of Jember Kidul, District Kaliwates Jember in altitude ± 100 m above sea level, in April to June 2016. The study was conducted using a randomized block design (CRD) consisting of two factors: the first factor is the concentration of the nutrient treatments AB mix (K) consisting of 500 ppm (K1), 550 ppm (K2), 600 ppm (K3). The second factor is the treatment of a wide variety of green lettuce is lettuce green Maat (V1), green lettuce green olivia (V2), red lettuce lolo rosa (V3). The results showed matt green lettuce varieties (V1) has the best growth response and significantly different on all parameters except observations observation root length. Treatment nutrient concentrations AB Mix real effect only on the parameter number of leaves and the fresh weight of the total that is best at a concentration of 600 ppm (K3), but no significant effect on observations of plant height, root length and dry weight. Interaction between wide varieties of lettuce and nutrition konstrasi AB Mix all parameters showed no significant observations.

Abstract

This research was conducted from 24 September to 5 December 2020, in Pancakarya Village, Ajung District, Jember Regency, East Java. This study used  a 3 x 3 factorial pattern with a randomized block design (RBD) and was repeated three times. The first factor is population (J) consisting of population 2 (J1), population 3 (J2) and population 4 (J3), the second factor is the dose (D) consisting of 30gram (D1), 35gram (D2), 40gram (D3) . The collected data were analyzed using variance (ANOVA), if it was significantly different, then continued with the 5% Duncan test. The purpose of this study was to describe the population size in the cultivation of shallot plants in polybags and to describe the correct dosage of NPK fertilizer for shallot growth in polybags. The results showed that the treatment population (J), on the growth of shallots was significantly different to the increase in plant height, but the population treatment (J), the dose (D) on the growth and productivity of shallots did not give a significant difference to the number of tillers, wet weight, weight. dry weight and harves indexs.

Abstract

Indonesia has various types of fruit throughout the archipelago, one of which is papaya (Carica papaya L.). It can be said that almost all Indonesian people know and love this fruit. Papaya is a commodity that has many functions and benefits, besides fresh fruit, papaya has high economic value, and can meet nutritional needs. Traditionally, the papaya plant is easily cultivated by farmers, and can be used as a strategic commodity to meet most of the food needs of the Indonesian people. Papaya productivity can be increased by pruning the trunk, it can also be done by inserting 2-3 feet of lower stems from several papaya plants in one parent tree connection (merging). One of the biological modeling is the merging of two plants in one plant which is known as grafting. Biological modeling is an engineering technique term to increase plant productivity, in this case papaya can be done one of them by grafting. To determine the effect of the growth of several biological models of papaya in the vegetative phase to the beginning of the generative phase. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the application of photosynthetic bacteria with chemical fertilizers on the productivity of cayenne pepper. The research was conducted in Pancakarya Village, Ajung District, Jember Regency from September to December 2022 with an altitude of 50 meters above sea level. This study used a non factoria randomized block design (RAK) with six treatments and four replications for a total of twenty four plants. The treatments observed were P0 = control; P1 = 5 ml/L PSB; P2 = 5 ml/L PSB and 2 g NPKCaMg fertilizers (16:16;16:6:0,5); P3 = 5 ml/L PSB and 2 g NPKSCaMg fertilizers (20:4:4:18:1:1); P4 = 5 ml/L PSB and 2 g NPKSCaMg fertilizers (17:12:12:6:4:2); P5 = 5 ml/L PSB and 2 g NPKSCaMg fertilizers (20:30:23:2:3:2). The results showed that the administration of a single application of photosynthetic bacteria did not have a significant effect on all observed parameters. The application of 5 ml/L PSB and 2 g NPKSCaMg fertilizers (20:4:4:18:1:1) had the best effect on stem diameter (7,63 mm), fruit weight planted (52,7 g) and number of fruit planted (25,5 fruit). Give a significant effect on the increase in fruit diameter (12,2 mm) from the control plant (8,1 mm).
