Abstract

This research is motivated by the inefficient use of Arabic learning methods, especially in memorizing mufrodat. Many students think that learning Arabic and memorizing mufrodat is difficult and unpleasant, resulting in a lack of interest in learning Arabic. This study has the main objectives of increasing: 1) the level of student learning activity during mufrodat learning; 2) achievement of mufrodat learning outcomes through the application of the singing method. This research was conducted at MIN 2 Purwakarta, Ciawi Village, Wanayasa District, Purwakarta Regency. The research subjects were grade 1 students at MIN 2 Purwakarta in the 2022/2023 school year, which consisted of 16 students. This research is a classroom action research with qualitative and quantitative analysis methods. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, tests and documentation. The results of this study can be concluded that: 1) The application of the singing method can increase student learning activities, this is indicated by an increase in student activity presentation from 70% to 93%; 2) The application of the singing method can improve student learning outcomes regarding mufrodat baitii for class 1 students at MIN 2 Purwakarta, Ciawi Wanayasa Village, Purwakarta for the 2022/2023 academic year. This is indicated by an increase in learning completeness and the average student achievement during each cycle of actions implemented. 1) The application of the singing method can increase student learning activity, this is indicated by the increase in student activity presentation from 70% to 93%; 2) The application of the singing method can improve student learning outcomes regarding mufrodat baitii for class 1 students at MIN 2 Purwakarta, Ciawi Wanayasa Village, Purwakarta for the 2022/2023 academic year. This is indicated by an increase in learning completeness and the average student achievement during each cycle of actions implemented. 1) The application of the singing method can increase student learning activities, this is shown by the increase in student activity presentations from 70% to 93%; 2) The application of the singing method can improve student learning outcomes regarding mufrodat baitii for class 1 MIN 2 students in Purwakarta, Ciawi Wanayasa Village, Purwakarta, the academic year 2022/2023. This is shown by an increase in learning completeness and the average student learning achievement during each implemented action cycle.

Abstract

Akses terhadap informasi tentang ilmu keislaman memiliki peranan penting di Indonesia, yang mayoritas penduduknya adalah Muslim. Namun, di daerah pinggiran, akses terhadap informasi keislaman masih sulit karena berbagai faktor, salah satunya adalah keterbatasan referensi kitab tafsir yang tersedia. Keterbatasan ini seringkali mengakibatkan materi dakwah yang disampaikan tidak berdasarkan referensi yang valid, sehingga berpotensi menyesatkan umat. Tujuan dari proyek pengabdian ini adalah melatih Ustadz muda dalam memanfaatkan Maktabah Syamilah sebagai referensi yang valid dalam memahami ayat-ayat al-Qur'an. Metode pelaksanaan proyek ini melalui beberapa tahapan diantaranya koordinasi dan sosialisasi, pelatihan penggunaan Software Maktabah Syamilah, sesi tanya jawab interaktif, pemberian tugas individu, dan evaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar peserta (90%) mampu menginstal Bahasa Arab pada Komputer dan menginstal Software Maktabah Syamilah versi 4.0, meskipun beberapa peserta masih membutuhkan bantuan langsung. Seluruh peserta (100%) memiliki pengetahuan tentang menu dan fitur dalam Maktabah Syamilah serta dapat mencari ayat-ayat atau kata dalam al-Qur'an beserta tafsirnya. Proyek ini menyimpulkan bahwa peserta telah mencapai tingkat keberhasilan yang tinggi dalam memanfaatkan Maktabah Syamilah, namun upaya lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman terhadap materi tafsir dengan meningkatkan keterampilan bahasa Arab.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the impact of implementing the qiyas method at the Al-Hikamussalafiyah Islamic boarding school on students' understanding of the book Alfiyah Ibnu Malik. This research also aims to assess the relationship between the application of the qiyas method and the student's ability to understand the book Alfiyah Ibnu Malik, as well as identify the extent to which the qiyas method influences the students' understanding of the book. This research method involves a survey with a correlational approach and a quasi-experiment with a Nonequivalent Control Group Pre-Test-Post-Test design. The population and sample of this study consisted of all students at the Al-Hikamussalafiyah Cipulus Islamic boarding school. Research data was collected through observation and tests, and analyzed using SPSS version 16.0 software. The results of the research show that at the Al-Hikamussalafiyah Cipulus Islamic boarding school, the qiyas method is applied consistently in every study of the Alfiyah Ibnu Malik book, which is rated in the frequent/good category. The average student test result score is 50.8%. Apart from that, the student's ability to understand the book of Alfiyah Ibnu Malik has an average value of 86.83, with a median of 90.75, and a mode of 98.59, which shows a very good level of understanding.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the inefficiency of using vocabulary learning methods (mufradat) in Arabic language instruction. Many students perceive learning Arabic and memorizing mufradat as difficult and unenjoyable, leading to a decreased interest in learning the Arabic language. The research aims to investigate two aspects: 1) student learning activities in mufradat instruction using the singing method, and 2) student learning outcomes in mufradat instruction through the application of the singing method. The study was conducted at DTA Baeturrohim in Cibeber Village, Kiarapedes District, Purwakarta Regency. The research subjects comprised 16 students from grade 1 of DTA Baeturrohim in the academic year 2022/2023. This research employed a classroom action research design with qualitative and quantitative analysis methods. Data collection techniques included interviews, observations, tests, and documentation. The findings of this research can be summarized as follows: 1) The application of the singing method can enhance student learning activities, as evidenced by the increase in the percentage of student activities from 70% to 93%; 2) The application of the singing method can improve student learning outcomes in mastering mufradat, as demonstrated by increased learning achievement and the average learning outcomes of students in each action cycle.

Abstract

Collaborative learning models are important in the educational context, both among university students and school students. This approach encourages students to be active, interactive, and collaborate in completing academic tasks, in contrast to conventional models which tend to be one-way. In the context of learning Arabic using a blended learning model, social media such as Instagram, Whatsapp, and TikTok are recommended considering the advantages and disadvantages of each. Collaborative learning provides benefits for students, including recognition of differences, individual recognition, a sense of responsibility, development of cooperation to achieve common goals, helping each other in understanding problems and finding solutions, providing positive responses, and developing common views and a sense of mutual dependence.

Abstract

This Community Service Lecture is realized with a learning assistance program that focuses on assisting learning to write Arabic and vocabulary mastery. This mentoring activity was carried out at the al-hidayah council in Margaluyu village, Kiarapedes sub-district, Purwakarta. The aim of this activity is to assist children to have Arabic language skills, especially in mastering vocabulary and writing skills well. The approach to this research uses qualitative methods, namely research procedures that produce descriptive data or qualitative depictions of Assistance in Learning to Write Arabic and Vocabulary Mastery in Children at Majlis Ta'lim Al-Hidayah. The stages of implementing this activity mentoring program are as follows. At this stage, the servant carries out a survey to the al-Hidayah council of Margaluyu village, introductions and requests for permission to serve the leadership of the council. Assistance in Arabic language learning in this program is assistance in learning to write and mastering mufrodat for children. who recited the Koran at Majlis al-Hidayah. After the implementation of assistance in learning to write Arabic and the children's vocabulary mastery at this assembly increased, this service activity generally ran smoothly because the burning enthusiasm and positive response from the children at Majlis al-Hidayah also made this program run well.

Abstract

Learning Arabic, especially learning speaking skills (Speaking/Muhadatsah), which is applied to Majlis Al Hidayah students tends to be difficult and boring, so this has an impact on the slow development of students' Arabic speaking skills (Speaking/Muhadatsah). Therefore, it is necessary to have interesting and effective methods in teaching, one of which is creating dialogues that are often used by students. There are several steps in implementing the muhadatsah method, namely: Preparing dialogue material and determining the topic that will be presented in writing. Muhadatsah material should be adjusted. with the level of development and abilities of students, and using teaching aids as aids for muhadatsah. Because the presence of teaching aids can explain children's perceptions of the meaning and intent contained in muhadatsah. Apart from that, it can attract students' attention and not be boring. The KPM (Community Service Lecture) program aims to provide training to students at the Majlis Al Hidayah institution to improve Arabic speaking skills through the application of the muhadatsah method, which is expected to improve learning outcomes for students who are very hampered by the ability to memorize vocabulary and new sentence. The result of PKM is an increase in Arabic language skills at MDTA Irsyadul Ibad.
