Abstract

The Ngelukar and Ngilahan Kaoq rite are religious and cultural ceremonies performed by Balinese Hindus and Sasak Muslims in Lingsar Village. The aim of this study is to analyze the communicative actions of the Sasak people in the Ngelukar and Ngilahan Kaoq rite as interethnic socio-cultural integration. This research used qualitative methods with a case study design and the data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The analysis used Habermas's theory of communicative action. The results showed that both Hindus and Muslims through this ritual could build the concept of interfaith togetherness, which is actualized for survival. Through the social communication, this can shape the actions to maintain the tradition of both adherents (Hindu and Muslim) according to the prevailing rules and values in the Ngelukar and Ngilahan Kaoq rituals. This ritual activity is a form of the communicative rationality actions by the Sasak people.

Abstract

Local wisdom has to serve as a cultural identity, intellectual property and religion if the integrity and diversity of the Indonesian people is to remain. This research analyzes local wisdom as social cohesion of “kebhinekaan” the study of hindu-islamic relations  in Lingsar Village West Lombok, Eastern Indonesia. The Perang Topat tradition carried out by Sasak Moslems and Balinese Hindus is the analytical unit in this qualitative research. After conducting field research through observations, in-depth interviews and documentation, the data gathered was validated by comparing it with multiple sources of evidence. Furthermore, it was analyzed using the ‘Parsons' social integration theory’. The results showed that the Sasak Muslims and Balinese Hindu in Lingsar Village and West Lombok, socially integrated in the form of social practices through the traditions of the Perang Topat. Furthermore, theyco-exist peacefully and maintain similar religious communities and cultures. As at the time of this research, the Perang Topat tradition still exists as a local wisdom and symbol of social cohesion of national diversity.

Abstract

Program pemerintah dalam pemberdayaan masih belum maksimal, sebab selama ini dilakukan secara top down. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pemberdayaan masyarakat untuk kesejahteraan keluarga yang dilakukan oleh pengurus Pembinaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) di Demangan  Gondokusuman Yogyakarta. Penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus ini dilaksanakan di Demangan melalui teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi, kemudian diolah dan dianalisis model interaktif. Kriteria pemilihan informan menggunakan teknik  purposive terdiri dari Ketua Rukun Warga serta PKK dan masyarakat Demangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat strategi pemberdayaan masyarakat untuk keluarga melalui program  pengurus PKK Demangan RW 05, sosialisasi, fasilitasi, pemetaan tempat, perencanaan, dan pelaksanaan. Pengurus PKK Demangan berperan dalam memberdayakan masyarakat melalui pemenuhan kebutuhan dasar, jangkauan sumber produktif, dan partisipasi dalam proses pembangunan sehingga meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat

Abstract

research aimed to analyze work ethos and Sasak Islam religious behavior of agrarian community in Lingsar Village of Lombok Barat, Nusa Tenggara Barat. Sasak Islam religious behavior and work ethos of agrarian community in farming practice was the unit of analysis in this qualitative research with case study approach. Data collection was carried out through observation, in-depth interview, and documentation. To validate data, multisource evidence was used and analyzed with Weber’s social action theory. The result of research showed that religious behavior of Lingsar village’s farmer community included nerimaq (grateful), cukup (feeling enough), and ikhlas (sincere). Work ethos could be seen in social action such as working hard and diligently and farming processing land well. There was a relationship between farmer’s work ethos and Sasak Islam religious understanding of agrarian community in Lingsar Village.

Abstract

Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) program are still not running optimally, for there are few barriers to social disintegration in MS Collection. This research aimed to find case analyze on Patchwork Crafts "MS Collection" small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Gandekan of Jebres Sub District Surakarta Regency. Qualitative research with approach case studies was held at the Gandekan of Jebres Sub District Surakarta Regency with Talcott Parsons’s theory of social integration. Data was collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and then processed and interactive models are analyzed. The results showed that MS Collection SMEs to create an economic group base creative efforts to expand employment opportunities. The community can improve the economy of the SMEs which have influence on the necessities of life the community.Keywords: SMEs, Empowerment, Patchwork AbstrakProgram Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (UKM) belum berjalan secara maksimal, sebab terdapat beberapa hambatan disintegrasi sosial dalam UKM MS Collection. Abstract

Traditions Perang Topat in Lingsar Village has done tens of years. The ritual of progress remains a tradition by the Sasak community consisted of religious understanding difference, namely the Sasak Muslim and Hindus performed simultaneously at one time and the same place. In this study discusses how the process of implementation of a tradition of Perang Topat, then the history of the tradition of Perang Topat and also forms the rationalization of social action. Research using the instrumental rationalization and value theory of Max Weber’s approach to qualitative case studies in the tradition of Perang Topat. The results of this study indicate that on the rationalization of the social action community Sasak is two Shapes in the implementation of a tradition of Perang Topat are: social value and sacred value. The form of social value is first, tying religious solidarity. Second, create value tolerance and bring peace. Third the form of local wisdom in Sasak. While the shape of the sacred is the first, this form of gratitude to the ancestral spirits are spirits of ancestors or the death (God Almighty) upon which it was holy water in Llingsar and Kemaliq. Second, a form of communication to the ancestral spirits or spirits of the ancestors of the death (God).Keywords: Rationalization, Social Action, Community Sasak, and Topat War Tradition.

Abstract

This study explores the significance of Rimpu, a traditional practice in Rasa Bou Dompu Village, as a representation of Islamic values among millennial fashion models. The objective is to investigate Rimpu's cultural and religious elements and its connection to the local modelling industry. The study used a qualitative research approach and gathered data through in-depth interviews with millennial generation fashion models who regularly practice Rimpu. The results reveal that Rimpu is a symbol of modesty, purity, and spirituality, which aligns with Islamic teachings. The practice also plays a vital role in the fashion industry by showcasing the blend of local culture and modern fashion trends. This study provides valuable insights into the significance of Rimpu in contemporary Islamic fashion and highlights the need to promote and preserve traditional practices as a representation of cultural and religious values.
