<![CDATA[This research aims to describe and reveal the influence of peers on the learning motivation of class IX students at SMP Negeri 19 Jambi City. The research approach applied in this research is quantitative research. The type of research used in this research is Expost Facto research. The research population to be studied is 246 students. The sampling technique in this research was using Simple Random Sampling. With a sample of 148 students. The data collection techniques and tools used were observing and distributing questionnaires to respondents. Data analysis uses the C formula percentage calculation, normality test, linearity test, and simple regression analysis. The results of the research show that the significant linearity value obtained is 0.000 < 0.05, the t value = 2.879 and the t table = 1.663 at the 5% significance level. Based on the known value that is 2.317>1.663, the accepted hypothesis is accepted. These results indicate that the peer variable (X) has a significant effect on the learning motivation of class IX (Y) students. The recommendations for future researchers so that they can be used as material for consideration and development of guidance and counseling service programs in schools._____________________________________________________________Penelitian ini bertujuan Untuk mendeskripsikan dan mengungkapkan pengaruh teman sebaya terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas IX di SMP Negeri 19 Kota jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian yang dipakai pada penelitian ini ialah jenis penelitian Expost Facto. Populasi penelitian yang akan diteliti berjumlah 246 siswa. Teknik penarikan sampel pada penelitian ini ialah menggunakan Simple Random Sampling. Dengan sampel sebanyak 148 siswa. Teknik dan alat pengumpulan data yang dilaksanakan yaitu melakukan observasi dan penyebaran kuesioner atau angket kepada responden. Data dianalisis menggunakan perhitungan persentase formula C, uji normalitas, uji linearitas, dan analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa diperoleh nilai signifikan dari linearity 0,000 < 0,05,nilai t hitung = 2.879 dan t tabel = 1,663 pada taraf signifikan 5%. Berdasarkan nilai yang diketahui bahwa 2,317>1,663 maka hipotesis yang diajukan diterima. Hasil ini menunjukan bahwa teman sebaya variabel (X) berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas IX (Y). Rekomendasi bagi peneliti selanjutnya agar menjadi bahan pertimbangan dan pengembangan program layanan BK di sekolah.]]>
