Abstract

Learning mathematics is a scourge for students; mathematics is considered difficult and scary, so it takes effort from a teacher to achieve the expected goals and fun. Mathematics requires a learning model to help students feel comfortable and happy; it is no longer a lesson they fear but a subject of interest. This study aims to provide solutions to students to follow the learning maximally and according to the goals to be achieved. This study is a type of qualitative descriptive research. The subjects in this study were teachers in MI Darussa'adah Domasan Kalidawir Tulungagung—data collection methods using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study explain that mathematics teachers apply the PBL model with several steps according to PBL syntax. Teachers experience several obstacles in using the Problem-Based Learning model, namely, lack of learning resources, lack of students' literacy skills, and limited time. However, the problem-based learning model has advantages in improving mathematics learning activities, including achieving goal activities so students can receive and achieve the target reference value or KKM. Pembelajaran matematika menjadi momok bagi siswa, matematika dianggap sulit dan menakutkan sehingga diperlukan usaha dari seorang guru untuk mencapai tujuan yang diharapkan dan menyenangkan. Matematika memerlukan suatu model pembelajaran yang dapat membantu siswa merasa nyaman dan bahagia, bukan lagi pelajaran yang ditakuti siswa, melainkan mata pelajaran yang diminati. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memberikan solusi kepada siswa agar dapat mengikuti pembelajaran secara maksimal dan sesuai tujuan yang ingin dicapai. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru dan di MI Darussa'adah Domasan Kalidawir Tulungagung. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa guru matematika menerapkan model PBL dengan beberapa langkah sesuai sintaks PBL. Guru mengalami beberapa kendala dalam penerapan model Problem Based Learning, yaitu: kurangnya sumber belajar, kurangnya kemampuan literasi siswa, dan keterbatasan waktu. Namun model pembelajaran berbasis masalah mempunyai keunggulan dalam meningkatkan aktivitas pembelajaran matematika, termasuk tercapainya aktivitas tujuan sehingga siswa mampu menerima dan mencapai target nilai acuan atau KKM.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of parental roles in the era 4.0 on students' academic achievement at MI Islamiyah Pinggirsari Tulungagung using a quantitative approach. The research population includes all students at MI Islamiyah Pinggirsari Tulungagung, with a sample size of 32 students from Class IX B. The main instrument is a questionnaire designed to collect data on the influence of parents and students' academic achievements. Statistical analysis uses a simple linear regression analysis. The validity test results show that the variables of parental influence in the era 4.0 and students' academic achievements have a significant correlation, indicating the instrument's validity. The reliability test produces an accepted value of Cronbach's Alpha, indicating a good level of instrument reliability. Simple regression analysis produces a determination coefficient of 50.4%, indicating that the parental influence variable in the era 4.0 contributes to that extent to the variation in students' academic achievements. The ANOVA test indicates the significance of the regression model, and the positive regression coefficient indicates that parental influence in the era 4.0 has a positive impact on students' academic achievements. Descriptive hypothesis testing shows that students' perceptions of parental influence in the era 4.0 and students' academic achievements are generally at a good level, with percentages of 95.9% and 98.4%, respectively, according to the specified classification. This study is expected to provide a deeper understanding of how parental roles in the era 4.0 affect students' academic achievements at MI Islamiyah Pinggirsari Tulungagung and has the potential to contribute to the development of education strategies that align with the demands of the times.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the utilization of video teaching materials in mathematics education at MI Darussa’adah Tulungagung in more detail. A case study design is used in conjunction with a qualitative approach as the research methodology. In this study, documentation studies, observations, and interviews were used as data gathering methods. The results show that the use of video instructional resources in grade V mathematics instruction at MI Darussa'adah Tulungagung is highly successful. By using these video teaching resources, educators may improve their students' comprehension of the topic and increase their enthusiasm to study, which makes mathematics instruction more dynamic and engaging.

Abstract

The community service program titled "Empowering Communities through Entrepreneurship and Financial Management Training" was conducted in Batuampar Village, Kramat Jati District, DKI Jakarta, focusing on small and medium enterprises (SMEs). This program aimed to enhance the capacity and skills of the community in managing businesses more effectively and efficiently through entrepreneurship and financial management training. The implementation method involved material presentations and guided group discussions (Focus Group Discussions) to facilitate active participation from the participants. The training results showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of business strategies, financial management, and the use of digital technology. Before the training, only 35% of participants understood business strategies, and this number increased to 80% after the training. The participants' satisfaction with the training reached 90%, indicating that the approach used was effective in enhancing participant engagement and enthusiasm. Additionally, the training successfully improved networking and collaboration among participants, which was previously only 25% and increased to 70%. This program positively contributed to local economic empowerment and demonstrated potential for further development to support the sustainability of SMEs in the area. Abstrak Program pengabdian berjudul "Pemberdayaan Masyarakat melalui Pelatihan Kewirausahaan dan Pengelolaan Keuangan" dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Batuampar, Kecamatan Kramat Jati, DKI Jakarta, dengan fokus pada pelaku usaha kecil dan menengah (UKM). Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengelola usaha secara lebih efektif dan efisien melalui pelatihan kewirausahaan dan pengelolaan keuangan. Metode pelaksanaan melibatkan presentasi materi dan diskusi kelompok terarah (Focus Group Discussion) untuk memfasilitasi partisipasi aktif peserta. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman peserta tentang strategi bisnis, manajemen keuangan, dan pemanfaatan teknologi digital. Sebelum pelatihan, hanya 35% peserta yang memahami strategi bisnis, dan angka ini meningkat menjadi 80% setelah pelatihan. Tingkat kepuasan peserta terhadap pelatihan mencapai 90%, menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan yang digunakan efektif dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan dan antusiasme peserta. Selain itu, pelatihan ini juga berhasil meningkatkan jaringan dan kolaborasi antar peserta, yang sebelumnya hanya 25% dan meningkat menjadi 70%. Program ini berkontribusi positif dalam pemberdayaan ekonomi lokal dan menunjukkan potensi pengembangan lebih lanjut untuk mendukung keberlanjutan usaha UKM di daerah tersebut.
