Abstract

Honey water guava (Syzygium aqueum) is a new fruit variety, but not many have cultivated it. This guava comes from the Myrtaceae family which has 3 varieties, the shape of the fruit is like a bell with a reddish green skin color, the taste is sweet like honey. This study aims to describe the growth and development of green deli honey guava fruit at different atonic concentrations and to obtain the best concentration. This research was conducted in Pancakarya Village, Ajung District, Jember Regency, in November 2020 - January 2021, with an altitude of 50 m above sea level. This study used a non-factorial randomized block design (RAK), with 6 treatments, repeated 4 times, a total of 24 research objects. The treatments studied were F0 = Control, F1 = 20 ml/L, F2 = 40 ml/L, F3 = 60 ml/L, F4 = 80 ml/L, F5 = 100 ml/L. Data were analyzed by means of variance (Anova), if significantly different, followed by a 1% BNT test. The results showed that the Atonic concentration of F3 treatment (60 ml/L) gave optimal results on diameter, length, unit weight and fruit sugar content. And not significantly different to the parameters of the resistance of the stump and the overall weight of the fruit This research should be carried out during the dry season, so that PGR can be absorbed maximally by the fruit.

Abstract

One type of pumpkin that is still rarely cultivated by the Indonesian people is the honey gourd, while the honey gourd is rich in benefits that are good for health and the honey gourd has high economic value because it is still rarely cultivated. In addition, the relatively higher price of honey compared to other yellows makes this pumpkin a sufficient source of income for farmers. One of the efforts to meet the demand for honey pumpkin yields is to use the right dose of NPK fertilizer on honey pumpkin plants. The study used a randomized block design (RAK) with 6 doses of fertilization treatment, repeated 4 times. So the total experiment is 24 plants. The treatments used were R0 without chemical fertilizer, R1 at 20% dose of chemical fertilizer, R2 40% dose of chemical fertilizer, R3 60% dose of chemical fertilizer, R4 80% dose of chemical fertilizer and R5 100% dose of chemical fertilizer. The results showed that the fertilizer dose of 20% (R1) gave the best effect on the finished fruit to harvest and fruit weight. The dose of fertilization has no effect on the growth and size of plant organs.

Abstract

Siamese citrus productivity is largely determined by the application of fertilizers, both organic and inorganic fertilizers. In mature plants that have passed the phase of maximum vegetative growth velocity (age > 5 years), the fertilizer dose can be approximated by calculating the fruit yield. According to Sutopo (2009). This research is an experimental study on Jeruk Siam Jember land owned by farmers in Rowo Tengah Village, Sumberbaru District, Jember Regency, East Java with an area of ​​​​approximately 2000 M2. The research was conducted from November 2, 2018 to March 20, 2019. The experimental design used a Randomized Block Design with three replications. The treatments studied were:• P0 = plants without fertilizer• P1 = plants fertilized with 30 kg of compost (2 buckets with a volume of 15 liters) (1 sack with a volume of 50 kg of urea);• P2 = plants fertilized with compost as much as 30 kg + 20% dose;• P3 = plants fertilized with compost as much as 30 kg + 40% dose;• P4 = plants fertilized with compost as much as 30 kg + 60% dose.• P5 = plants fertilized with compost as much as 30 kg + 80% dose.• P6 = plants fertilized with compost as much as 30 kg + 100% dose.• P7 = plants only fertilized with 100 % chemical dose.The dosage of chemical fertilizers used refers to the recommendations of Balitjestro (2009). Based on the results of the study, observing the research parameters and calculating the data from the F analysis test and BNT follow-up test, it was shown that the results of treatment 5, namely the administration of bokashi and 80% of the dose of synthetic chemical NPK fertilization, were efficient.

Abstract

Guava water honey (Syzygium aqueum) is an introduced fruit plant that was released as a variety of “Jabu Air Madu Deli Hijau” in 2012, but has not been widely cultivated for commercial purposes. Honey water guava comes from the guava tribal family or Myrtaceae which has 3 varieties, namely red, green and white. Now the green deli honey guava is one of the newest leading commodities which has been widely developed by horticultural farmers in the city of Binjai. This study aims to explain whether the effectiveness of brongsong affects the growth and development of green deli honey guava fruit, by obtaining good quality green deli honey guava fruit. This study used a non-factorial randomized block design (RAK), with 6 different brongsong treatments, repeated 4 times, a total of 24 research objects. The treatments studied were: R0 = Control (without berongsong), R1= Blue Plastic, R2 = Black Plastic, R3 = Red Plastic, R4 = Oil paper, R5 = Clear plastic. The data collected were analyzed by means of variance (Anova), if they were significantly different, then followed by the 5% BNT test. The results showed that brongsong in the R4=Paper oil treatment gave good results on the unit weight of the fruit, and the sugar content of the fruit. And did not give significantly different results on the parameters of fruit length, fruit diameter, fruit bunch resistance and overall fruit weight.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the best concentration of atonic PGR to increase the quantity and quality of longan fruit. People's doubts about the quality of locally produced longan fruit as a substitute for imported fruit must be answered immediately by presenting domestically produced longan fruit that has fruit characteristics that suit consumer tastes and with better quality. The role of the auxin hormone on fruit growth and development is to increase fruit volume. One of the biostimulants that can be used as growth regulators is atonik. This research was carried out in Pancakarya Village, Ajung District, Jember Regency which was carried out from January 2022 to March 2022 with an altitude of 50 m above sea level. This study used a non-factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK), with 6 different spraying treatments, repeated 4 times, the number of research objects 24. The treatments studied were atonic concentrations, namely: L0 = Control, L1 = Concentration of 20 ppm, L2 = Concentration of 30 ppm , L3 = Concentration of 40 ppm, L4 = Concentration of 50 ppm, L5 = Concentration of 60 ppm. The data collected was analyzed for variance (Anova), if it was significantly different, then proceed with the BNT test at the 5% level. In determining the fruit to be sprayed using a random system. The results showed that the concentration of atonic PGR in all treatments gave no significant difference, but the concentration of atonic PGR in treatment L2 (30 ppm) gave optimal results for the vertical diameter of the fruit, the horizontal diameter of the fruit, the sugar content of the fruit, and the resistance of the fruit bunches.

Abstract

Hybrid honey gourd is an exclusive commodity because of its fruit shape, appearance, nutritional content, benefits and also the high price. Cultivation of hybrid honey gourd is not too difficult, one of the problems is the procurement of expensive seeds. This can be overcome by vegetative propagation using adventitious shoots which are usually removed. In research, innovations emerged to stimulate adventitious shoots to be successfully developed for vegetative propagation. This study aims to obtain a hybrid honey pumpkin vegetative propagation method, to describe the growth and development of honey pumpkin seeds from vegetative propagation. The design used was a factorial 3x3 randomized block design (RAK) with 3 replications. The first factor is the internode position of the shoot (D) which consists of three segments (D1); four segments(D2); five segments (D3). The second factor is a stimulant (S) consisting of 6 grams of pearl NPK fertilizer per one liter of water combined with 1.5 ml atonic atonic (S1); 3 ml (S2); 4.5 ml (S3). In total there were 9 treatments, namely D1S1, D1S2, D1S3, D2S1, D2S2, D2S3, D3S1, D3S2, D3S3. The collected data were analyzed by analysis of variance and F-test if significantly different, followed by the DMRT 5% test. Inter-unit parameters in one individual (section length) were analyzed by student's t-test.
