Abstract

AbstrakMengetahui laju detak jantung saat latihan fisik sangat berguna untuk mencapai hasil latihan yang optimal. Penggunaan metode manual untuk penghitungan laju detak jantung saat latihan fisik tidak memungkinkan, sehingga diperlukan alat yang dapat memantau laju detak jantung secara terus-menerus saat latihan fisik. Pada paper ini dirancang sebuah alat pemantau laju detak jantung saat latihan fisik. Pemantauan laju detak jantung dilakukan dengan metode photoplethysmography pantul dengan menggunakan pasangan sensor LED putih dan photodioda. Alat pemantau laju detak jantung yang telah dirancang kemudian dibandingkan dengan sebuah produk pemantau detak  jantung yang juga menggunakan teknik photoplethysmography. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa alat yang dibuat dapat digunakan saat latihan fisik dengan kecepatan respon yang  lebih baik daripada produk sejenis yang diujikan. Kata Kunci: laju detak jantung, pemantau laju detak jantung, photoplethysmography, latihan fisik  AbstractKnowing heart rates while doing physical exercises is very useful to achieve maximum exercise results. The use of manual method to measure heart rates during physical exercises is not possible; therefore a tool to monitor the heart rate continuously while doing a physical exercise is needed. This research aimed at designing a heart rate monitor to be used during the physical exercise.  The heart rate monitoring was done with reflective photoplethysmography method using a pair of white LED sensor and photodiode. The heart rate monitor made was compared with other heart rate monitor products using photoplethysmography technique. Abstract

One way to find out the acoustic performance of a room is by measuring the impulse response. These measurements will obtain  an overview of interaction between the sound source and the surface in the room, which can be described in a time sequence patterns of sound energy reflection at any point in the room as well as the reduction of sound energy at any time or any sound reflections information. This research aims to determine the amount of power response and impulse response of sounds produced by speakers. Variable in this research is sounds produced through a microphone and that go out through the speaker. To determine the power response, pink noise is measured, while the impulse response is measured using impulse signals. SPL meter is used to measure the power response and impulse response. The research is literature study and field observation. The result shows the impulse response measurement is not easily interrupted by frequencies from other sound sources. Meanwhile, power response is easily distracted by the frequency from other sound sources. Keywords: impulse signal, impulse response, pink noise, power response, SPL meter
