Abstract

Consumer taste is one of the factors that can influence consumer demand for an item. The consumer's taste or taste for Tongkol fish (the smell and taste of Tongkol fish) will also influence the size of consumption and demand for Tongkol fish. Consumer tastes can be identified by looking at consumer preferences, consumer perceptions and consumer awareness. This research aims to analyze the influence of the price of tuna, the price of skipjack tuna, consumer income, and consumer tastes on the demand for tuna in North Padang District, Padang City. The type of research used is quantitative research using survey research methods. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis, the dependent variable of this research is demand for tuna, then the independent research variables are, the price of tuna, price of skipjack tuna, consumer income and consumer tastes. The results of the research show that the variable price of tuna has a significant and negative effect on the demand for tuna in Padang Utara sub-district, Padang City, the variables of the price of skipjack tuna, income and consumer tastes have a significant and positive effect on the demand for tuna in Padang Utara sub-district, Padang City.

Abstract

Ekowisata di kawasan Konservasi Lubuk Larangan Bendung Sakti dapat dijadikan sebagai bagian dari sektor industri di Sumatera Barat yang dianggap memiliki prospek cerah dan mempunyai potensi yang sangat besar untuk dikembangkan. Dengan adanya wisatawan yang datang ke Lubuk Larangan Bendung Sakti sangat berpengaruh terhadap pendapatan masyarakat lokal khususnya masyarakat Tanah Bakali Inderapura.Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dampak pengembangan ekowisata kawasan konservasi ikan Lubuk Larangan Bendung Sakti terhadap perekonomian masyarakat lokal di Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. Metoda penelitian adalah survey dengan analisis data dampak ekonomi ini diukur dengan menggunakan efek pengganda (multiplier). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan adanya ekowisata lubuk larangan Bendung Sakti Inderapura maka mempengaruhi beberapa faktor yaitu: peningkatan pendapatan masyarakat lokal, terbukanya kesempatan kerja, terbukanya peluang usaha baru, meningkatanya infastruktur/fasilitas umum, terbukanya komunikasi dengan masyarakat luar dan interaksi sosial, terjadinya pergeseran budaya ke arah positif dan meningkatnya kebersihan dan kualitas lingkungan

Abstract

Utilizing plastic waste as a material to create valuable goods has become an important topic in efforts to reduce the negative impact of plastic waste on the environment. However, not all schools understand and carry out activities to utilize plastic waste to become valuable goods. This activity explores the use of plastic waste to increase student creativity in elementary schools (SD) in Padang City. The aim of this activity is to provide elementary school students with knowledge and skills in utilizing plastic waste into valuable items and increase students' creativity. This activity was carried out at an elementary school in Koto Tangah District, Padang City, namely SDN 57 Air Cool. Activity methods include: (1) socialization; (2) training; (3) evaluation and mentoring. Data collection includes surveys and observations of students and teachers involved in creative activities using plastic waste. The research results show that creative use of plastic waste has encouraged students to develop creative skills, problem solving and environmental awareness. Through various activities such as crafts, fine arts, and science projects, students learn to turn plastic waste into useful and interesting products. Thus, integrating the use of plastic waste in the elementary school curriculum can be an effective strategy for increasing student creativity while teaching sustainable environmental values. So, the conclusion is that plastic waste can be used into valuable goods to provide a role important in children's development, especially in the development of students' attitudes and behavior in controlling the environment to create a green economy.
