Abstract

One of the trends that has gotten stronger after the Covid-19 Pandemic is the habit of students using gadgets to study, surf, play and spend their time. This habit influences the motivation and learning outcomes in school. Consequently, conducting research is needed to utilize digital game applications as part of gamification-based learning media. This is important to increase the learning interest of students who like digital games. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using gamification-based learning methods in increasing student motivation. The research method used was a survey using questionnaires for junior high school students. Statistical analysis was conducted to determine differences in learning motivation before and after the implementation of gamification in mathematics class. The results of the analysis show that the implementation of gamification in mathematics can increase student motivation by 13.03% compared to conventional learning. From the several question items, it can be seen that gamification made learning mathematics more fun (3.65) and 97.45% of students said that their learning concentration was better with the implementation of gamification in the mathematics class. Looking at the average results of the questionnaire after gamification-based learning at class VII and IX levels there is no significant difference, both show high averages showing that at different levels students are equally interested in gamification-based learning. Thus it can be concluded that the implementation of gamification in mathematics learning has a significant influence on increasing student learning motivation.

Abstract

The increasing in construction projects has resulted in an increasing demand for concrete. This has the potential to increase crushing test waste, becoming an environmental issue as it can create large landfills and pollute the environment. Therefore, this research aims to develop an effective and innovative solution for managing crushing test waste by reusing it in infrastructure as an aggregate substitution in asphalt mixtures. The method used was an experimental study of AC-BC paved mixtures starting with finding the Optimum Asphalt Content (KAO), then aggregate substitution with percentages of 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100 at fc’25 concrete grade. Marshall testing was conducted on all test specimens to obtain the parameters for assessing the asphalt mixture. The research shows that the addition of a crushing test to the waste can change the Marshall parameters by asphalt mixtures. Thus, this solution will be the result of the negative effect by crushing test waste on the environment and improve material use efficiency in the construction industry. ABSTRAK Peningkatan jumlah proyek pembangunan berdampak pada permintaan beton yang semakin meningkat. Hal ini berpotensi meningkatkan limbah crushing test, dan menjadi masalah lingkungan karena dapat menciptakan tempat pembuangan sampah yang besar dan berpotensi mencemari lingkungan. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengembangkan solusi efektif serta inovatif dalam pengelolaan limbah crushing test dengan memanfaatkannya kembali pada infrastruktur sebagai substitusi agregat pada campuran beraspal. Metode yang dipakai yaitu studi eksperimental campuran beraspal AC-BC yang dimulai dengan mencari Kadar Aspal Optimum (KAO), lalu dilakukan substitusi agregat dengan persentase 25%, 50%, 75%, dan 100 pada mutu beton fc’25. Pengujian Marshall dilaksanakan pada seluruh benda uji untuk mendapatkan parameter penilaian campuran beraspal. Dari hasil penelitian ini, terbukti bahwa penambahan limbah crushing test mempengaruhi parameter Marshall pada campuran beraspal. Dengan demikian, diharapkan solusi ini dapat mengurangi dampak negatif limbah crushing test terhadap lingkungan dan meningkatkan penggunaan material dalam industri konstruksi.

Abstract

The post-COVID-19 pandemic has led to a reduction in public transportation access, causing a hindrance to the economic activities of the community. However, the demands of daily needs force people to urbanize to areas with high economic opportunities, including South Tangerang City. To support economic activities, public transportation, including mikrolets, is needed. However, people tend to consider many factors before using mikrolets. This study aims to determine the performance of mikrolets through user perceptions and assess their compliance with the Peraturan Pemerintah Republik Indonesia Nomor 30 Tahun 2021. The research method is a survey method that distributes offline and online questionnaires to respondents in the Rawa Buntu area. A performance score for mikrolets was obtained using the Likert scale based on predetermined intervals. It can then be concluded that the performance of mikrolets is good. Still, one shortcoming is the untidy appearance of the drivers, which becomes a consideration for public transportation users when choosing mikrolets for their travel. ABSTRAK Pasca Pandemi Covid-19 menyebabkan berkurangnya akses kendaraan umum, sehingga kegiatan perekonomian masyarakat menjadi terhambat. Namun, tuntutan kebutuhan sehari-hari memaksa masyarakat untuk melakukan urbanisasi ke daerah yang memiliki peluang perekonomian tinggi, salah satunya Kota Tangerang Selatan. Sebagai penunjang kegiatan perekonomian diperlukan transportasi umum termasuk mikrolet. Namun, masyarakat cenderung mempertimbangkan banyak faktor sebelum menggunakan mikrolet. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja dari mikrolet melalui persepsi pengguna dan mengetahui kesesuaiannya terhadap Peraturan Pemerintah Republik Indonesia Nomor 30 Tahun 2021. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei dengan penyebaran kuesioner secara luring dan daring kepada responden di Wilayah Rawa Buntu. Melalui skala likert, didapatkan skor penilaian kinerja mikrolet berdasarkan interval yang telah ditentukan. Kemudian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kinerja mikrolet sudah baik tetapi terdapat satu kekurangan, yaitu penampilan sopir yang kurang rapi sehingga menjadi pertimbangan para pengguna angkutan publik dalam memilih mikrolet sebagai angkutan publik yang digunakan dalam bepergian.
