Abstract

It is important to understand about dangerous goods and the procedures for transporting dangerous goods, especially for the younger generation. This can help reducing the number of accidents in the transportation of goods to help the transport of dangerous goods. Based on this, the Bali Land Transportation Polytechnic provides insight about lind spots for dangerous goods transportation. This activity uses socialization/counseling methods regarding the load of dangerous goods on the road and blind spots. The target of this program is students of SMAN 7 Denpasar, because there is a close relationship between role of students and driving safety regarding to dangerous goods transportation. this socialization hopefully provides an understanding of dangerous goods and the role of the younger generation in transportation safety. During this socialization, participants can understand the explanation and answer the questions correctly

Abstract

The Port of Sanur is a transportation hub that is a base for small ships heading to the inner islands of Bali (Sanur-Nusa Penida-Ceningan) and other outer islands (Lombok). This port attracts both local and foreign tourists, causing long queues. This study aims to analyze the queue density at the Port of Sanur. Due to the dense queues at the counters causing congestion along the way to the port. Data analysis used quantitative-descriptive methods. Data on queue time, service time, and number of people in the queue were collected through direct observation and interviews. Two types of schemes were simulated to determine the queue density reduction strategy, namely, one server and two servers, using AnyLogic software. The simulation results of the queuing model through the AnyLogic software show that scheme 2 has a queue time of 0.04 minutes and a time in the system of 0.21 minutes, so visitors still in the service process are left with one or no queue. Scheme 2 can be a strategic choice to reduce queue density. ABSTRAK Pelabuhan Sanur merupakan simpul transportasi yang menjadi tempat pangkalan kapal-kapal kecil menuju wilayah dalam Pulau Bali (Sanur- Nusa Penida-Ceningan) maupun dengan Pulau luar lainya (Lombok). Pelabuhan ini dipadati wisatawan lokal maupun asing sehingga menyebabkan antrean yang panjang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kepadatan antrean yang terjadi di Pelabuhan Sanur. Akibat antrean yang padat pada loket menyebabkan kemacetan sepanjang jalan menuju pelabuhan. Analisis data menggunakan metode kuantitatif-deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi langsung dan wawancara yang meliputi waktu pelayanan, waktu antrean, serta jumlah pengunjung dalam antrean. Dalam menentukan strategi penurunan kepadatan antrean dilakukan simulasi 2 jenis skema yaitu 1 pelayan dan 2 pelayan menggunakan software AnyLogic. Hasil simulasi model antrean melalui software AnyLogic menunjukkan bahwa skema B memiliki waktu antrean 0,04 menit dan waktu dalam sistem sebesar 0,21 menit sehingga pengunjung yang masih dalam proses pelayanan tersisa 1 atau tidak ada antrean. Skema B dapat menjadi pilihan strategi untuk mengurangi kepadatan antrean.
