Abstract

Tetanus neonatorum is one of the leading causes of infant mortality in Indonesia which has arisen as a result of low coverage of antenatal care and TT immunization. Based on data from Tanjung Balai Community Health Clinic 2017 that visit of K-1 expectant in February as many as 80respondents and March 89 visits, but there was a decline in April that was only 83 visits. This research is a research in the form of analytic survey with cross sectional study design. The method used was accidental sampling obtained 56 respondents. Data collection was by using questionnaire and conducted in June 2017. From the statistical chi square test obtained p value = 0,000 which means the value of p value is smaller than 0,05 (0,000 <0,05). Thus Ho is rejected, this indicates that there is a correlation between the knowledge level and the compliance of TT immunization during pregnancy. The result of chi square statistical test is obtained p value = 0,001 meaning p value is smaller than 0,05 (0,001 <0,05). Thus Ho was denied, this indicated that there is a correlation between the respondents' attitude with expectant obedient to implement TT immunization during pregnancy in Karimun District Karimun

Abstract

Anemia is one of nutrition problen in the world. The incidences of anemia in Indonesia are relatively high. The prevalence of anemia at Karimun Regency happened on 729 school girls (12.8%) in 2016. Pre-survey done on 20 school girls from SMP N 3 Tebing showed that 6 girls (30%) got anemia. This study was to invertigate the factors concerning anemia incidences on school girls at SMP N 3Tebing of Karimun Regency. The study used cross sectional approach with 62 girls as samples after systematic sampling technique. Data collection was done through questionnaires and Hb test. The correlation analysis was done by using chi square. Result found that 38 students got anemia (61.3%). Statistical test showed that factors concerning anemia are knowledge leve3l (p=0.011), meal schedule (p=0.021) and menstrual pattern (p=0.022). Thw\e school health unit should intensity anemia prevention program on school girls by giving socialization about anemia and distributing Fe tablet

Abstract

Premenstrual Syondrome is a collection of physical and mental symptoms. Experienced 7-10 days before menstruation and disappears a few days after menstruation. The complaints experienced may vary from banan to moon and may become lighter and even heavier. Approximately 80 to 95% of women between 16-45 years experience distressing PMS symptoms. Health problems can be dizziness, depression, and feelings of excessive sensitivity about two weeks before menstruation is usually considered normal for women productive about 40% of women around the age of 14-50 years. Is there any influence of health education on the level of knowledge of young teen about (PMS) at SMPN 10 Batam Year 2017. Researcher use pretest-posstest one group design design. Pretest-possstest one group design from the study of 32 respondents obtained sebleum results given health education 9.32 ± 2.196 out of a total of 15 total scores after health education given 12.53 ± 1.047 of the total score. Increased knowledge of young adolescent with value ρ value; 0,000 about premenstrual syndrome at SMPN Batam in 2017. The conclusion of this research is the influence of giving information about premenstrual syndrome in the school because of the provision of information that has been done by the researcher and expected respondents can actively seek the latest information about premenstrual syndrome
