Abstract

Carolina’s Salon merupakan sebuah bisnis salon yang akan didirikan di kota Balikpapan, Kalimantan timur, tepatnya di Jl. M.T. Haryono. Proyek ini akan didirikan di sebuah ruko yang terdiri dari 3 lantai. Ruko tersebut memiliki total total luas bangunan 600m2. Seluruh luasan dari bangunan ini akan digunakan untuk kepentingan bisnis salon. Salon ini merupakan bisnis perseorangan dengan seluruh modal yang dikeluarkan adalah milik pribadi. Tujuan salon ini didirikan salah satunya dengan mengejar kebutuhan dan keperluan pasar terhadap salon kecantikan yang semakin besar. Carolina’s salon akan melayani customer dengan penawaran layanan jasa seputar salon dan spa. Pada lantai satu akan difokuskan kepada area salon, sedangkan pada lantai dua dan tiga akan berfokus kepada spa. Perancangan interior yang akan digunakan pada salon dan spa ini adalah industrial style dengan paduan clean design yang akan diterapkan pada seluruh bagian interior maupun eksterior ruangan termasuk desain dari furnitur.

Abstract

Pal’S Gallery is a furniture design business that will be open in Surabaya, East Java. The showroom location will be in the 2nd floor of Marvell City Mall, Raya Ngagel 123, Wonokromo, Surabaya City, East Java. Pal’S Gallery specialize in furniture design and furniture product using rattan as the main materials. The purpose of this business are to fulfill the market demand for furnitures, and to enrich the Indonesia design with its uniqe rattan furniture design. Pal’S Gallery will serve customer with furniture design service and also selling the finished or ready-to-use furniture products. This research covered the design research, concept, and implementation report of the furniture, product, and its display space. Pal’S Gallery’s display space are consist of showroom and exhibition booth. The division area showroom and booth are less the same, there are public areas and private areas. Area divider of diplay space base on the showroom and booth existing. The existing area of showroom itself has 90 m2 total area. While, the booth has several alternatives design base on the booth size and type, there are the booth with a size of 3x3m surrounded with three backdrop in three different sides, the booth with a size of 3x3m surrounded with two backdrop in two different sides, the booth with a size of 3x6m surrounded with a backdrop in the 6m sides, and the island booth with a size of 6x6m. The concept for Pal’s Gallery display will be use rattan materials designed in a modern space planning and enclosure shape.

Abstract

AKAM is a Chinese food restaurant in Surabaya. Apart from its main function, AKAM has two multifunction rooms on the second floor, the small and the bigger one. The existing building is located at Raya Dukuh Kupang, Surabaya, and covers the area of 810m2. Since it was constructed twenty years ago, the owner is currently in the need for renovation works in order to create a new appearance as well as to present a new atmosphere of the building interior. Besides, the new design is expected to solve some problems for better service of customers and their activities. The style chosen for the new design is the Peranakan “Pasuruan Chinese” Style, which will apply both to the first and the second floor. Yet for the second floor will be simpler in terms of the style, in order to meet the needs of various activities in the restaurant
