Abstract

Fintech equity crowdfunding has arrived in Indonesia, expanding options for entrepreneurs to raise capital. Indonesia's predominantly Muslim population increases the potential demand for access to Shariah-based capital as well as the potential for Shariah-based fintech equity crowdfunding. Access to capital through Islamic fintech equity crowdfunding can be a source of capital solutions for MSMEs. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of sharia crowdfunding in financing MSME players. So that it is following OJK regulations and also the DSN-MUI Fatwa and does not conflict with the rules or Islamic sharia. The writing methodology uses a qualitative method of document and text study by referring to various sources of data, information, and documents. The results of this study indicate the effectiveness of sharia fintech, especially in crowdfunding for MSMEs financing, where MSMEs can access it via the network or online, besides that crowdfunding can attract investors who want to finance or lend capital to MSMEs businesses.
