Abstract

ABSTRAKSelera mengkonsumsi sayur bergeser ke sayuran muda (sayuran baby). Dengan semakin meningkatnya permintaan mentimun baby, perlu dilakukan peningkatan hasil tanaman tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh interaksi perlakuan proporsi media tanam dan konsentrasi pupuk organik cair (POC) plus terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman mentimun baby. Penelitian dilaksanakan menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) faktorial. Faktor pertama adalah proporsi media tanam (K) yang terdiri dari 3 level, yaitu K0: tanah dan kompos (3 : 0); K1: tanah dan kompos (2 : 1); dan K2:  tanah dan kompos (3 : 1). Faktor kedua adalah konsentrasi POC air cucian beras plus dengan 3 level yang terdiri dari C1:  konsentrasi POC 5 ml/liter air; C2:  konsentrasi POC 10 ml/liter air; dan C3: konsentrasi POC 15 ml/liter air. Semua perlakuan POC diberikan ke tanaman dengan dosis 200 ml/tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara perlakuan proporsi media tanam dan konsentrasi POC plus terhadap semua parameter pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman mentimun baby. Perlakuan tunggal proporsi media tanam K1 (proporsi tanah dan kompos = 2 : 1) dan K2 memberikan pengaruh yang tidak berbeda terhadap jumlah daun, panjang tanaman, jumlah buah dan berat buah mentimun baby. Perlakuan konsentrasi POC plus C3 yaitu konsentrasi 15 ml/l air memberikan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman mentimun baby lebih baik dibandingkan dengan konsentrasi C1. ABSTRACTTastes for consuming vegetables are shifting to young vegetables (baby vegetables). With the increasing demand for baby cucumbers, it is necessary to increase the yield of these plants. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of the interaction between the proportion of planting media and the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer (POC) plus on the growth and yield of baby cucumber plants. The research was carried out using a factorial randomized block design (RAK). The first factor is the proportion of planting media (K) which consists of 3 levels, namely K0: soil and compost (3 : 0); K1: soil and compost (2 : 1); and K2: soil and compost (3 : 1). The second factor is the POC concentration of rice washing water plus 3 levels consisting of C1: POC concentration of 5 ml/liter of water; C2: POC concentration 10 ml/liter of water; and C3: POC concentration of 15 ml/liter of water. All POC treatments were given to plants at a dose of 200 ml/plant. There was no interaction effect between the proportion of planting media and POC plus concentration on all growth and yield parameters of baby cucumber plants. The single treatment of the proportion of planting media K1 (proportion of soil and compost = 2 : 1) and K2 had no different effect on the number of leaves, plant length, number of fruit and fruit weight of baby cucumbers. The POC plus C3 concentration treatment, namely a concentration of 15 ml/l of water, provided better growth and yield of baby cucumber plants compared to the C1 concentration.
