Abstract

A strong nation refers to a nation that has large national resources, whether human, natural or artificial resources. Indonesia's human resources are the country's most important defense assets in protecting sovereignty, territorial integrity and the safety of the Indonesian nation and state. In this case, youth organizations can actually grow as a reserve component to overcome military and non-military threats, both in times of war and peace. Considering that the reserve component will play an important role in supporting national defense, the government must make every effort to build this component based on the national defense posture which includes military and non-military defense. Therefore, it is necessary to create a legal umbrella so that reserve components originating from youth organizations can be mobilized and demobilized as needed.

Abstract

The decentralized government system in Indonesia divides authority between the central and regional governments according to the characteristics of the vast archipelagic region. The main priority in this system is ensuring the fulfillment of basic needs such as security, health, education, justice and welfare, as reflected in the national goals stated in the 1945 Constitution. The state plays the role of guardian and protector for the people, with the government's focus on creating order in social life. . Efforts focused on national defense aim to defend the sovereignty, integrity and safety of the nation from various threats, both domestic and international. Indonesia's national defense posture consists of military defense to face military threats and non-military defense to face non-military threats, which are expected to achieve national goals. In the context of the dynamics of life that continue to develop, the role of regional government as the main element in non-military defense is important, because it has direct contact with the community to build local wisdom in advancing its region. By building a non-military defense posture as an integral part of regional government, regions will become stronger in supporting the performance of the central government and become an efficient and effective unit in achieving national goals.

Abstract

Women have an important role in realizing a just world civilization. Although there are physiological differences between women and men that influence their roles in society, the modern era opens up wider opportunities for women to develop. With increased literacy in the digital era, women are increasingly realizing their career potential outside of household duties. Women have brought unique perspectives in various fields through their roles, ranging from agents of peace, educators of the next generation, leaders and decision makers, economic drivers, and guardians of the balance of nature. However, until now they still face challenges such as discrimination and violence. To overcome this, concrete efforts are needed, especially in supporting gender equality in society by strengthening women's leadership.
