Abstract The background of this research was based on problems that faced by students in reading class.The use of Reciprocal Method can be used as a teaching method to help teacher in teaching learning, especially in teaching reading comprehension. The study is aimed at responding the following question: 1) How is the implementation of reciprocal method in teaching reading comprehension?, 2)Is reciprocal method effective for students in learning reading comprehension. This research was conducted by using quasi experimental method.The method of the research was quantitative and qualitative. Data were obtained by giving test to the students of second grade (VIII C as experimental Group and VIII E as control group). The instruments that were used to collect data were pre-test and post-test as main instrument and questionnaire as second instrument. The test was used to know studentsâ ability in reading comprehension before and after the teacher implementing Reciprocal Method. Questionnaire was used to know studentsâ perception during teaching learning process. The data for this experimental study were studentsâ reading pre-test post-test scores and studentsâ activites results, and the reading scores were analyzed with Fraenkle and Wallen formula. The result of t account is 6,6 t table is 1,997 for Î± = 5%. So the conclusion is t account is higher than t table (t account> t table). The research found that the reading scores of the experimental group is higher than the control group and it is also supported by the studentsâ perception.Furthermore, the studentsâ perception results indicate that there were positive responses towards the use of Reciprocal Method in teaching reading. It was effective both in arousing studentsâ motivation and in improving their reading comprehension. From the results, using Reciprocal Method in teaching reading comprehension was expected to be a new contribution for helping teacher to conduct an effective and interesting learning in the classroom. This study, analyzed the studentsâ communication performance and competence in the speaking class. This study also measured the studentsâ communication apprehension level and its correlation with communication performance and competence. 30 students of second year students of SMK Pariwisata Kosgoro Cirebon took part in this study. The data were gathered through questionnaire, presentation test to get the score of communication performance and interview test to get the score of communication competence. The correlation study was used to investigate the relation of each variable. The result from the studentsâ performance showed that 66,7% of the students scored below the school standard score (75) and 70% of the students scored below standard score in the interview test. The participants showed the highest apprehension to public speaking and the lowest apprehension to group discussion. Their level of apprehension showed that 43.3% students were in moderate level and 56,7% students were in high level of apprehension. It was also found that communication apprehension was negatively correlated with communication performance. While the result from the correlation between communication apprehension and competence showed that there was a very low positive correlation but, there was a high positive correlation between communication competence and performance. Speaking is one of skills which should be mastered by students in studying English. However in Indonesian school hours the chance to practice speaking is limited. One way to obtain more practices to speak outside of school hours is by joining English club extracurricular program. English club as an English extracurricular program in state Madrasah Aliyah Pembangunan Mandirancan gives chance to students to speak in more flexible condition with their peers. Thus, it is interesting to investigate the impact students perception on English club extracurricular toward studentsâ speaking skill. The 26 students joined English club extracurricular as the sample. The techniques used obtaining the data were observation, questionnaire and speaking test. It is suggested that the students should joined English club extracurricular because it can improve studentsâ speaking skill. Keyword :English Club, Extracurricular Activities, Speaking skill

Abstract This research is designed to analyze studentsâ error on essay writing organization. The writers focus on the one category of error identifications that is organization. By conducting this research, the writers hope some development of studentsâ ability in arranging essay. By analazing the erros, students get feed back to develop their ability. This study was conducted descriptively and qualitatively in nature. It is designed to identify and to describe kinds of errors is made by the student in essay writing organization in the EFL classroom. To achieve the goal, the writers describe in detail all the data taken from the studentsâ works and interpreted to make an empirical generalization. This research was conducted in second grade of English department in one of the university in Cirebon. The writers use purposive random sampling. The result of findings show that 16 students stand in scale 3 which is equal with 64 %. Then, 7 students stand in scale 4 which is equal with 28 %. And the last, 2 students stand in scale 2 which is equal with 8 %. So that, the writer concluded that the students of second grade of UNSWAGATI Cirebon are adequate to fair on essay writing organization. Key words: error, writing, essay organization
