<![CDATA[ABSTRAK Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini dilakukaan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan Motivasi dan Hasil Belajar Ekonomi dengan Strategi Kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw pada siswa kelas XI.IPS.2 Surakarta Semester 1 Tahun 2015/2016. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus yang masing-masing siklus meliputi tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan tindakan, tahap observasi, serta tahap refleksi. Pelaksanaan penelitian di SMA Batik 2 Surakarta dalam waktu 5 (lima) bulan dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas XI.IPS.2 sejumlah 32 siswa.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui penggunaan strategi Kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI.IPS.2 Surakarta Semester 1 Tahun 2015/2016. Peningkatan kualitas proses pembelajaran ditandai dengan meningkatnya motivasi dan hasil belajar pada kegiatan pembelajaran ekonomi materi pendapatan Negara.Pada siklus I secara klasikal motivasi siswa terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran ekonomi meningkat dari kondisi awal 35,80 % menjadi 54,52 %. Pada siklus IIsecara klasikal motivasi siswa terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran ekonomi meningkat dari siklus I (54,52 %) menjadi 82,35 %. Peningkatan kualitas hasil belajar ditandai dengan meningkatnya jumlah siswa yang mencapai batas ketuntasan. Pada kondisi awal siswa yang mencapai batas ketuntasan sebanyak 16 siswa atau 50,00%, pada siklus I siswa yang mencapai batas ketuntasan sebanyak 22 siswa atau 68,75%, sedangkan pada siklus II siswa yang mencapai batas ketuntasan sebanyak 27 siswa atau 84,75%. Kata Kunci: hasil belajar, motivasi, strategi kooperatif tipe Jigsaw.  ABSTRACT This classroom action research aims to improve the studentsâ motivation and learning outcome in Economy class by the implementation of one of the cooperative strategies, Jigsaw. This research was conducted on the eleventh social 2 students of SMA Batik 2 Surakarta at the first semester of academic year 2015/2016. This classroom action research comprises of two cycles, each includes every single step of action research, namely: planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The researcher conducted this research in five months by studying 32 students as the subjects.The result shows that the implementation of Jigsaw can improvethe studentsâ motivation and learning outcome in the Economy class. This improvement is shown in the teaching and learning process of one of the Economy class materials, National Income.In the first cycle, the result shows that the studentsâ motivation was improved compared to the pre-research result; it was improved from 35.80% to 54.52%. In the second cycle, the result is also improved from the first cycle; it is improved from 54.52% to 82.35%. Meanwhile, the studentsâ learning outcome also shows improvement in the two cycles. The improvement is indicated by the number of the students who pass the passing grade. In the pre-research, there were only 16 students (50.00%) who passed the passing grade which then increased to 22 students (68.75%) in the first cycle and increased to 27 students (84.75%) in the second cycle. Keysword : outcome, motivation, the cooperative strategies, jigsaw.]]>
