Abstract

This research aimed to determine the teacher role of Islamic Education (PAI) in familiarizing students to pray in congregation. This research type was descriptive analytic. Location and research objects located at SMP Negeri 11 Bandar Lampung. The population of 366 students and 100 samples. The questionnaire showed that 65% argued that the teacher was very instrumental in providing an example, 26% showed a role, 9% showed a lack of role and 0%. The role of PAI teachers through habituation was 59% very important, 33% played a role, 8% of people lack a role, and 0% did not play a role. The role of PAI teachers through advice was very often 58%, often 23%, sometimes 19%, and never 0%. While the role of PAI teachers in the attention/supervision method showd 64% very often, 22% often, sometimes 14%, and 0% never.
