Abstract

The current decentralized education system provides an opportunity for every educational institution to improve the quality and quality of schools by implementing School Based Management (SBM). MI Ulumiyah Pare as an educational institution participates in responding to improving the quality of education by seeking every teacher to be creative in improving appropriate classroom management so that learning runs efficiently and effectively. This Classroom Management Concept seeks to provide solutions to problems in class, whose scope is not only limited to delivering material, but includes several things that are comprehensive for organizing classes, including academic activities in the form of planning, implementing and assessing learning. administrative activities which include procedural and organizational activities such as room arrangement, grouping of students in the division of tasks, enforcement of class discipline, procurement of tests, class organization, Analysis is carried out with, data reduction, classifying and centralizing data that has been obtained in the field to facilitate researchers and obtained data. collect data in an organized way by giving the possibility of conclusions and actions. The results of research on class management in order to increase the effectiveness of teaching Akidah Akhlak MI Ulumiyah Pare, show "that class management can indeed increase the effectiveness of learning Akidah Akhlak MI Ulumiyah Pare". Classroom management is important in increasing the effectiveness of learning.

Abstract

This type of research is descriptive qualitative, namely research that is descriptive, narrating and interpreting existing data and produces descriptive data in the form of written/spoken words from people and observable behavior and the data is in the form of statements. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique is descriptive qualitative. Determining the validity of the data, in this study using data triangulation techniques, namely data validity checking techniques that utilize various sources outside the data as comparative material. From the results of the research and discussion, the following conclusions were obtained: The principal's efforts to improve teacher professionalism include: Involving teachers in Subject Teacher Deliberations, Involving them in training, and Attending seminars/discussions. While the teacher's efforts to improve teacher professionalism through: Subject teacher deliberations, educational training, Discussions/seminars on education. The supporting factors are: the suitability between the teacher's educational background and the field of study being taught, Community participation. And the inhibiting factors are the problem of lack of discipline, and inadequate facilities and infrastructure and the problem of funds are still needed. From the description above, the principal should be more responsible in his duties of guiding and directing teachers so that he can raise teacher awareness to further improve the quality of teaching.
